The staff! Literally the redeeming quality of this place. Everyone was SO SO KIND and incredibly helpful!! We loved Taylan. Seriously amazing staff in the restaurant area! Audrey was great in the reception area. Lots of food and drink options. Drinks available at any time! Lots of eating times. Snacks, coffee breaks, plus meal times. Beautiful property. Lovely flowers! Book exchange in the reception area.
There’s tonnnsss of dining options and I got the traditional Turkish meals that I so throughly enjoyed multiple times when we were in Cappadocia but none of them measured up. They did many meals but none were done super well. Food was good, not great but lots of options!! If you go at the end of the eating times they did run out of desserts. I did find it irritating that every time you were at dinner you had girls coming around trying to get you to go places that evening and people selling massages etc. My husband ended up getting a little snippy with the massage salesman and he finally did back off. The room is a hot box because you have to leave your key in the slot next to the door for the power to work in your room, so the AC turns off every time you leave and they won’t issue more than one key. We did find this pretty typical in Europe tho. We had to call reception to bring us batteries for the remote for the tv, 45 min pass and no one comes. Same thing happens when we ask for toilet paper. We had to go down to reception each time. Once we got batteries for the TV it was pointless because the TV was so staticky and fuzzy you couldn’t even watch it. WiFi is incredibly horrendous. I could never connect so I went to reception for help. The guys at the front desk were really nice and very helpful. They gave us batteries and let me get on the admin WiFi since they couldn’t get me logged into the guest WiFi either. But still no WiFi in the rooms, only in the main areas even if you are able to connect. My admin WiFi only worked right next to the reception desk. But when I say ‘work’ it’s very relative. It never worked well enough for me to be able to make a Facebook post or for us to download movies on Netflix. On the bed there is no sheets. A regular sheet was used as a fitted sheet and there is no regular sheet, only a thin blanket that isn’t even the proper size of the whole bed and is extremely scratchy. My husband compared it to tissue paper.
It was an amazing stay, I can name it as a day of paradise. Rooms and facilities were brand new, staff was extremely friendly and helpful. I will definitely stay here in my upcoming vacation at Bodrum.
Staff were very friendly! They made sure we were very comfortable all the time! Booking activities was also very easy, we just told the staff what we wanted to do and they did it all for us. The entertainment crew got everyone involved some how which made the trip lots of fun. All in all, 10/10
