The room was fine, close to the airport and bus terminal
I booked with guayaquil suites, I arranged a shuttle (I have the emails confirming). I am a 69 y/o woman traveling alone with limited spanish. I got to the airport and through customs around midnight...no shuttle, several messages on whatsapp (in spanish). They could not find a driver. I ended up taking a taxi to another hotel (guayaquil suites and apartments and paying $5.00 for a $3 taxi ride and another $55 for a room. He kept mumbling something about “expedia” and I told him they knew how to contact me as they had sent two emails arranging a shuttle and 5 messages to whatsapp. I think they robbed me at 1:00 in the morning

I arrived very late at night, and the man at the desk was helpful and friendly. He even arranged a taxi for me in the morning. Free wifi, clean, quiet room.
Super sketchy location but only 10 mins to the airport, which was what I needed. Wifi was terribly slow.
