Perfect location for exploring the city, right in the middle of the museum district and the new development on the river side. The room on the top floor is one of the most spacious dorms I've stayed in and has a great view. Highly recommend!
The communal kitchen was a bit too small to actually prepare a meal in but that's the only negative I can think of.
The location was very good, the room and bathroom were both nice and super spacious, and the breakfast was delicious (especially the homemade jam!).
I was in the room on the top floor, where the kitchen was really lacking in utensils and it had no cleaning products - sponge or detergent!
Great location, just opposite Malecon 2000. Staff friendly and eager to help.
Was put in a room at front of hotel, but the traffic noise, all night was unbearable. Asked to be moved for my following three nights, which the duly obliged without a problem. If noise bothers you ask not to be put in a front room. Breakfast was basic and they always seemed to have to wait on refills for fruits, juice etc. or for clean crockery to be sent up to the breakfast area. Portions of jam, peanut butter were far too small, meaning people took several dishes at once.
Fantastic, welcoming and helpful staff. Great decor and lots of interesting things to look at. Breakfast was better than we expected, with fresh fruit, juice and cereal and toast, as well as coffee. The room was safe and secure.
It was very noisy and a lot of light as our room (The White Room)overlooked the main street and boardwalk. This is not a complaint, just a fact of being so well located.
Really nice to stay in an 8 bed dorm with a bit of space, most hostels cram in as many beds as possible but this one was lovely and spacious so you don't feel like you're living on top of each other and it had the best views in the house. Also the breakfast was a nice surprise, I was expecting the standard cheap bread and jam but this quality stuff.
