I received a very warm welcome that extended throughout my stay. It’s a beautiful house in a lovely part of the work. Very comfortable room and delicious breakfast. The homemade jam and marmalade are worth the trip alone.
There was nothing not to like.
A lovely bed and breakfast with charming hosts. Maggie made us scones and jam when we arrived a little earlier than expected and her delicious breakfasts were huge. The shortbread in the room was delicious. Would stay again when in the area.
Maybe, a little expensive for a bed and breakfast.
Homebaked scones and shortbread were great. Hosts were friendly, allowing us to drop our bags off early and giving great advice. Breakfast was delicious. Room was luxurious.
If anything - location - 10-30min drive from nearby restaurants and attractions, but adds to the secludedness and has a nice view to compensate.
Wonderful hosts. Large, clean, comfortable room. Little touches such as the offer of a scone upon arrival and some of the best shortbread cookies I’ve ever had. Excellent made to order breakfast. Drove us to town for dinner and picked us up which was much appreciated.
They served us afternoon tea and scones when we arrived. They offered to book us a dinner reservation at the best pub/restaurant in town. We had two great breakfasts. They had great suggestions for exploring the area.
Our stay was too short.
