The hotel has a English country house syle-particuarly in the original buildings. The staff are unobtrusive but efficient which contributes to a very peaceful and relaxing ambience. The gardens are extensive and well maintained.The two meals we had in the hotel restaurant were excellent.

the hotel's shuttle should be more frequent.

The hotel has a big garden all in flowers. There is also a big clean swimming pull. I recommend this place to people who would like to have quite vacations in a nice surroundings.

The garden is supreme, and the location of the hotel very good some 5 min away from central Funchal and still secluded.Good access from freeway to airport.
