The hotel was lovely modern and clean. The staff were all very friendly. The breakfast was exceptional. The hotel was great value for money.

Nice clean hotel room, excellent and friendly staff, great bar and breakfast was fantastic! Location was a little way out of Funchal but not more than a 20 minute walk which was quite pleasant
Queen size bed was 2 singles pushed together, also the pool wasn’t heated so it was pretty unusable even in the 20-22 degree sunshine we had while we were here

Good hotel. Very clean and tidy. Good breakfast. Friendly reception and staff, ready to help and support. A bit crowdy during breakfast, but probably a good reason to wake up earlier))) Internet worked perfectly and for me that was important, since i had to connect for work couple of days. TV had some Russian channels. Overall I enjoyed my stay. My recommendation is to take suit - the ocean view there is really good. A more simple room has a partial view on the ocean and mostly on the street) and as already written in some comments - it can be a bit noisy, because of the building constructions that are still ongoing, however not smth dramatic.

Lovely view from balcony, nicely-decorated room and very comfortable bed. Excellent location near the Lido just out of Funchal but with very good access to buses and tours. Pleasant dining room and very helpful, friendly staff.
Attractively decorated rooms but maybe design over function, eg no room in bathroom to put your washing gear, very little space for anything other than hanging clothes. Reasonable choice for breakfast but buffet food was never more than luke-warm.
