Some rooms even come with a furnished balcony, offering picturesque Alpine views. The brightly decorated dining room is an inviting place to enjoy hearty buffet breakfasts. Pros: The whole place was lovely! Staff was incredibly friendly, sweet, and helpful with giving us maps for the town. It was truly a beautiful stay in the Alps. Gorgeous views and warm inviting room. Breakfast was wonderful! It all was perfect!

Pros: Just a little outside of Füssen Altstadt (10 minutes walking), you're in peaceful quiet surroundings. We saw the mountains of Austria and heard the birds sing. Breakfast was all organic and they took the effort to provide gluten free bread for me. They had many suggestions for doing and seeing things. And always friendly and helpful.

Pros: Sandra’s place is the best spot you can find to spend a weekend with your loved one around Fussen and Neuschwanstein Castle. We really loved the setting, the breakfast and the good vibe!
Cons: Some rooms are upstairs and there is no elevator, so keep that in mind if you’re elder or have a walking problem.

Cons: Cappuccinos not high quality. Limited options for dinner, but it was good enough for 6 nights. On main road, where cars come down at quite a speed, so watch out for little kids. We had smokers next door and had to keep door closed and couldn't sit out on patio.

Pros: So to say DELIGHTED would be an understatement! I was ECSTATIC when shown up to our beautiful apartment which was on the top floor, overlooking the lake and the mountains beyond.. I was so ecstatic that I gave our host a huge hug of joy!!! The apartment not only had the most beautiful view possible, it was spacious, beautifully attired and incredibly well equipped and comfortable and quiet... it had a fantastic kitchen that I used to cook both nights we were there,(. So nice we preferred to cook and eat in than go out !) and wonderful high spec bathroom( my husband creates high end bathrooms for a living so we really appreciate a good bathroom when we see it!! Our host could not have been more helpful ..about trips to see the fabulous Neuschwanstein and Hohenschwangau castles and other places to visit and was super hospitable and friendly as well! All I can say is that we will be back, that we loved it, that it was a real highlight of our /Belgium/ Germany / Switzerland road trip! And I ALMOST couldn’t bear to move on and nearly tried booking an extra night to hold on to that view from the lovely apartment just a bit longer !! Too good!!!

Pros: One of the nicest small hotels we have ever stayed in! Every need is anticipated and provided for. Very highly recommended. It’s not in the city center of Füssen but on a beautiful lake outside the center. That was a real plus!! Füssen is “ok” but not terribly interesting so you’re not missing out!

Pros: Breakfast was fine. It was a fairly nice location. The room looked pretty cool, though I missed having chair + desk. Bathroom was nice. Bed was nice.
Cons: Cleaning was not good: Room got cleaned with do not disturb sign on door. Moved my stuff around, mixing clean and dirty laundry together. Slimy cleaning liquid bottle left lying on couch. Took away a hand towel and didn't replace it. Left bathroom garbage can in the hallway. Had a pretty bad experience in which I asked for tips on where to do laundry, hotel person said that she can run a load in their washer and get it back to me tomorrow, we did that, and then when we checked out, the hotel person charged us over $100 for performing this service. I had thought $10 would be reasonable, though I had thought she would not charge us for it at all given the conversation, and we compromised at $35. It was very surreal to, at a hotel that said it did not officially do laundry, get an itemized list of charges for washing individual clothing items - stuff like 1 euro per sock.

Pros: A hidden gem. In a quiet residential area away from tourist. Only a short drive to the castles. The breakfast spread was unbelievable and it didn’t stop there. One morning we had deep fried apples in vanilla sauce, and the next morning, delicious scrambled eggs. It was an absolute breath of fresh air. Our host, Mr Kurt, was very gracious. We could not have asked for a more beautiful spot to spend our time in Füssen.

Pros: The breakfast at this hotel is absolutely amazing. You must experience it. Beautiful table setting, beautiful sunny room, unbelievable selection of foods. Like nothing I have EVER experienced at a hotel. The location is excellent. We came for one night to go to the castle. Upon check in the owner kindly recommended a few places to eat and an easy way to walk to town where the restaurants are, and we set off for a lovely walk and excellent meal. Our room was beautiful, even had an outside porch where we sat and took in the view with a glass of wine. Do not stay anywhere else if you are coming to Fussen.

Pros: Breakfast was beautifully presented! And so delicious! And Anna who served in the breakfast room was so enjoyable! This hotel is such a gem - nice rooms and gorgeous, delicious breakfast. Safe in a quiet neighborhood as well. Be sure to ask for a room with a view of Neuchsanstein, even though it's far away, it's still gorgeous! Close to Old Town for restaurants and shopping as well.
Cons: We rode the train, so the walk from the train station took awhile, 15-20 minutes, since we didn't know where we were going on busy streets, and that there was an much easier pedestrian walkway for getting into town. Didn't know that until we checked in. When we left, we opted for a taxi to the train station (10 euros), since our luggage was so heavy. Recommend a taxi upon arrival, rather than trying to wrangle heavy luggage-haha. This was not the hotel's fault....I'm writing this information for the upcoming travellers.

Pros: This hotel is excellent. The staff were very helpful and had a positive attitude. The room we had was large and well furnished with everything spotless and up to date. We ate in the hotel restaurant and the food, although not cheap was of good quality and well presented. Free parking outside the hotel and near to the lake boats for trips round the lake.
Cons: Although the breakfast was good, the queues for the omelette etc were quite long. The one coffee machine struggled to cope with the number of people wanting a latte etc.

Pros: The place is amazing. We were in the chalet and it is just great. Sitting in front of it during sunset with a great view of the mountains just makes the day. Many things to do are within a 25 minutes driving radius. The Hopfen See is a Great location for the morning run, burning the calories of the dinner from one of the many restaurants close by. Alternatively, you can use the kitchen of the chalet. The breakfast has all you need, even freshly made waffles for the kids. You can’t get wrong at this place.

Pros: Have stayed here before, Maria our lady at the desk was wonderful and Cruz made our check in smooth. Both gave us amazing information about the town of Fussen and tips on food and must see while there. Everyone we met from the hotel was pleasant and very friendly. We did not eat breakfast (for a charge) there because our mornings started too early but they were very helpful with other needs for our comfort.
Cons: Decor was a little plain, but the comfort made up for it. We rented the top room for 3 people. Have rented for two people and it was great all around.

Pros: We stayed in 2 family rooms (5 persons each) on the ground level for 2 nights. There is a garden just outside the rooms with apple trees. The host is friendly and provided us Fussen Card, which allows us to take the local buses free and discounts at the attractions. Short 5mins walk to bus stop, just outside the train station, for buses to the castles.

Pros: Great location, good to leave the car and walk in the center of Füssen. The bedrooms and bathrooms are huge and well equipped. We stayed only one night but it was a good experience. We didn’t try the breakfast, which was not included.
Cons: There is no AC, which was not a problem since the temperature was good during nighttime. Also, check in time is restrictive, and we had to check in in another hotel since we have arrived in Füssen at 20h.

Pros: Everything! Even the coffee in the vending machine is great! The location is amazing, with superb views and the village is beautiful with great bars and restaurants. All the staff were super friendly and very helpful.
Cons: It’s not really a dislike but it’s tough to get a parking space in the car park however there’s LOTS of free street parking by the hedge outside.

Pros: The beautiful, peaceful location and ambience make this a very restful place to stay. The staff were again very helpful and friendly. The breakfasts were delicious and the rooms comfortable. There was plenty of storage space in both bedrooms and bathrooms and we appreciated having a balcony with views of the fantastic scenery. The facility to take a packed lunch from the breakfast table and also the take-on-trust bar system were very good.
Cons: There were some loud noises outside the first couple of mornings from work by neighbouring buildings but this was beyond the control of the guesthouse.

Pros: This is a very nice hotel with only 10 minutes by driving to Neuschwanstein. The family room is pretty large and clean. The breakfast is great, and the owner may also prepare the fried eggs. There is also a small playground for kids. A supermarket is just a few minutes away by walking.

The funky interior is a nice touch and makes for an interesting walk around the floors. The room was also posh with the supplied robes and slippers, a huge walk in shower and nice touches throughout.

Pros: Located 400 metres from the town centre and with on site parking (chargeable) Best western Fussen was a great choice for our weekend stay. Modern and clean facility with good reception and Bar area. Didnt take breakfast as it was extra to price and many cafes and patisseries in area. Fussen gives easy access to the Forggensee lake which is quite beautiful and reachable on foot from Town. We hired bikes from the railway station and had a superb day riding along the shore on relatively flat and well prepared tracks. There are numerous cafes and bars along the route. For the less energetic there is a boat trip available around the lake.! With the backdrop of Neuschwanstein castle and sunny weather it was glorious. Hotel guests receive discounted entry to castles and to public transport so check in before you go anywhere as we did it all before arrival!

The garage space is not managed properly, it should control number of cars allowed to be parked in the garage . Hotel room must to have tea maker in the room.
