8.8 Excellent
Pros: Anna did a great job. I got in late and she was there to meet me. I had to leave before breakfast and she came in early to make me some breakfast before I had to leave at 7:30PM.
Cons: Small room
10.0 Excellent
Pros: This place is absolutely wonderful. It is not similar to any of the hundreds of hotels and guesthouses I have visited all over the world. The house is beautiful. All furniture, decorations and furnishings come from the 18th century or are stylized for this age. The nicest place is the porch, which is a smaller version of the porch from "Gone with the Wind". All women can feel like Scarlet O'Hara
7.5 Good
Pros: Lovely typical house. Excellent breakfast. Michael - who took care of our breakfast and checkout - has ben a perfect host.
Cons: The bathroom was not very comfortable. It is private, but not in the room. It’s across the corridor. This was not clear to us from Booking.com website when we reserved. The shower - described as "a luxurious shower” - is in a short bath tub hence not big, it's under a pitched/sloping roof not suitable for people taller than 168 cm, and it’s in the dark due to a thick curtain.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Totally beautiful classic B&B with friendly and attentive staff. We had the Poet’s Loft which was gorgeously decorated with a little Arabian Nights flair and a stunning modern en-suite bathroom. Breakfast was very romantic as it was just cool enough to sit at our own private table on the porch.
Cons: Bed was a little lumpy.
7.1 Good
Cons: Poor lighting & air circulation.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Anna made me feel so welcome and indulged! She gave a personal tour, carried my bags, advised on where to wine taste and eat, where to park, retrieved an extra robe and made me feel like "family come home"! Breakfast was the best ever.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Breakfast was delicious! I slept like a baby and being just a walk away from historic downtown Frederick made for a great evening. Outstanding!!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Our room go switched upon arrival to one of the larger options. We did not mind since we did not have any special affinity for the room we had selected. Street parking was easy. The breakfast was amazing! We enjoyed all of it. The bed and room were well appointed and comfortable. We also loved the charm of the decorating downstairs in the common areas.
Cons: There was central air, but there was also a widow unit. We were told we could turn the window unit off but did not. Our mistake! I regretted that as it was very noisy and kicked on and off more regularly than any other unit I have ever been around. I was too tired to get up and figure it out in the middle of the night, so I put in ear plugs to reduce the number of times it woke me up.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: My mom and I absolutely LOVED our stay!! The house is beautiful, breakfast was delicious and amazing and exceeded my expectations. Monique is wonderful. I can’t wait to go back. Also her dog violet is adorable!!

7.5 Good
Pros: The staff were amazing Good location. Big rooms If staying a while we’ll equipped
Cons: No room safe The air con in my room didn’t work The pillows were old and not comfy Biggest dislike was the obvious food on carpet in bedroom by bed and kitchen Noise from the air con in room was so loud (222) Sadly I wouldn’t come back
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Clean hotel with nice swimming pool and jacuzzi. Complimentary popcorn was a huge hit with our son - thanks!
Cons: Breakfast was mediocre. Hotel should invest in a second waffle machine and second waffle dispenser. The line was always too long for a hungry six year old.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The shower is amazing! We over all loved the room!
Cons: The light bulb was out above the dinning room table.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: The night time staff closed the pool and whirlpool area early so we could not enjoy it the night of our stay. Since we go up early the next morning we were able to enjoy it then. We would have liked to enjoy it both times. The bed was very uncomfortable.

9.6 Excellent
Pros: Location was perfect and central to a lot of local businesses and eateries
Cons: We booked a King Suite. I am 99% certain that the room we were placed in was a Queen Suite. Bed was comfortable but seemingly smaller than we expected. In addition, I asked to be placed away from the elevator because we had our dog. We were placed right behind the elevator. Also, pet fee seems a bit hefty. Our dog is cleaner than we are most times. There should be a nominal fee and then a caveat to charge additional, if necessary.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Very clean, had great location. Staff were amazing.
Cons: The room was a little warmer than I like for sleeping, even though I had it set for 66 it stayed 71.

7.1 Good
Cons: The breakfest wasn't good, everything was not Marriott's standards. And if I knew the hotel allow dogs, I would have never stayed here. Dogs arent people. Hotels are a place to relax, not be on edge bc of dogs. They are unpredictable.

Pros: The location was perfect for all of the events I was attending. The room was clean and quiet. Great place to stay.
7.9 Good
Pros: Clean, spacious, friendly staff
Cons: Hard beds. No pull through to unload luggage and of course it was pouring rain when we arrived with my elderly grandmother. Too bad because besides the hard beds and pull up, it was a 10 out of 10.

Pros: We stay here every year on our way down South, it’s a great “pit stop”, in a nice location, with shopping and good eats all around you
4.2 Okay
Cons: I reserved a king room and then got to my room to see they gave me what they call two queen beds but are more like 2 full. Went to the front to find out they over booked the king rooms and said that they couldn’t do anything about it no kind of compensation or refund. And on top of that some sort of siren went off in the middle of the night and the elevator wasn’t seeming to be working in the morning. For what I paid I won’t be staying here again!

Pros: Beds super comfy.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Everything, except the shower head.
Cons: A bit pricey for what are usually pay at Hilton. Still freshly built or remodeled. Very nice Also I'm 5'0. Cannot rack shower head on ceiling. Built for very tall (thin km NBA) people.
6.3 Good
Pros: Room was lovely, big and clean. Maids were very friendly and made you feel welcome. 24hr coffee available, basketball, BBQs you can use, pool - all excellent but not obvious or advertised.
Cons: The breakfast was really not up to what I would expect from somewhere charging so much, no bacon! Reception staff were not friendly at all. Not enough carts for so many rooms, receptionist offered no help to locate one. Advertises a social but notice when I get there that it's only Sunday - Thursday. TV has a really odd guide and not much choice.

Finally fell asleep around 4:00 a.m. emailed Dawn Dillon and Yesly Hernandez , assistant general mgr. I have been in some bad hotels/motels but never written a complaint before. The noise was terrible.

Pros: The room was clean, wifi was very good, and the coffee at breakfast was good. The free and fresh cookies were also very good.
Cons: This was not a typical Fairfield Inn & Suites, which we like and seek out. The room was small. The bed was hard and very uncomfortable. The vanity area was dark and not well lit at all. We think it had been a different hotel and was changed to Fairfield.
7.1 Good
Pros: Location was good. Right off the highway. Free breakfast included as well. Beds were comfortable. Staff was friendly.
Cons: The bathtub had some rust-looking spots. It was clean, but looked dirty due to the discoloration. A shelf next to the sink was coming out of the wall. The TV didn't work. The free breakfast was fine, but found the individual milk bottles to be spoiled.

Cons: After I booked the hotel through booking it said that my total was $154.92. Which that is all the room was supposed to be. After checking in and checking my bank account I noticed that I was charged $180 instead of $154.92. I then asked the lady at the front desk why it was that much and she said it was a safety deposit encase something would break it would cover it and that the $30 should be refunded within 7 days. I just wish that they would have told me that when initially checked into the hotel.

Pros: Clean friendly staff.
Cons: I didn’t like that they are one of the only hotels that do not offer a continental breakfast.
6.7 Good
Cons: I booked the room @ $139 knowing I was getting a Jacuzzi suite. Upon check in I did not and had to change rooms and pay more for the room I had already reserved. I had to preclean the jacuzzi before even using it. The bed was so so but the noise was horrible!! Between the highway traffic and the garbage pick up you could not sleep very well if your a light sleeper.
3.8 Mediocre
Pros: I liked the ease of check in and check out. That’s it
Cons: The cafe in the hotel was subpar and they need to rotate their inventory to discard spoiled items. Also the cleaning staff did not spruce up the room after our first night. They informed the front desk that they had done the room when we inquired. Upon entering the room after our activities of the day, you could clearly tell that was not truthful. We asked that the room be done while we were at dinner.

Pros: The staff was wonderful and extremely accommodating and helpful!
Cons: Nothing. Everything was great!

Cons: It was very hard to get a good sleep. The AC worked poorly so the room was warm all night. I requested a quiet room however the street traffic was very noisy despite using ear plugs and a sound machine. And the breakfast was mediocre at best.
6.0 Good
Pros: My room felt clean. The staff was ok, not the most personable, did their job but not very friendly. I liked that I had a coffee pot in my room.
Cons: The breakfast was just so so. The sausage offered was patties sitting in grease, VERY unappetizing.
5.4 Okay
Pros: The desk managers were very helpful.
Cons: The bathroom door didn't close correctly. The room door doesn't close in its own without assistance. The breakfast was very mediocre.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Everything was great as always.
Cons: The only thing I can think of that was negative is that the door to my room had been kicked in at some point in time & so it opened & closed a little hard....but it wasn't a big deal all & all.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Comfortable and clean. Staff kindly allowed me to check in early.
Cons: Rooms were nicely renovated, however some details (such as doors with peeling paint and rusty hinges) remained. The property should consider updating these things as it takes away from the overall look of the rooms.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: This is a basic property and a good value for the money. The rooms were good sized, the bed was very comfortable. Bedding was clean and fresh. Bathroom was clean. The staff were friendly. The TV worked well. Loved having a microwave and refrigerator!
Cons: The property is old and it shows. Wooden closet doors were porous looking, and the closet smelled musty...I did not use it as a result. The toilet rolls were just placed on the counter, no holder. The wall looked patched where it might have once been. The door jam to the room looked as if the door had been kicked in at some point. The air conditioner was not very efficient.

Cons: Bed was extremely uncomfortable, too hard for my taste. Thought I booked 2 queen beds, but ended up with 1 queen bed instead, which was not really a big deal. The room was handicapped accessible which I did not need. Bathroom was oversized to accommodate a wheel chair which left very little space on the right side of bed to walk, and no room for a night stand. The bathroom door opened out into what little space there was to walk around on the right side of bed.
6.3 Good
Pros: Location is the primary reason for going to this property. Breakfast is good. Mai tends to the breakfast and does a wonderful job. She is efficient and very pleasant. I look forward to seeing her on every trip.
Cons: Been staying here for years and it has been a good place but going down hill. I requested a second floor room only to be told at check in that I had a 1st floor room. I objected and was given a second floor room. I asked for the rear but was put in the front. I had to move the coffee pot so I could plug it in. The next day the cleaning crew did not clean the pot. There were no shear curtains on the windows so the blackout shades had to be closed. There was a cookout in the rear of the bldg in the parking lot that was being had by a rough looking crowd. We avoided the rear but we had parked our car there. The clientele quality has declined noticeably.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: a last minute change in plans was accommodated when a pet was able to be with us for the stay
3.3 Mediocre
Pros: No room when I arrived.
Cons: The receptionist.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Staff very friendly. Beds were nice and comfortable.
Cons: Bathroom was small. There wasn't much room to place toilet articles.

Pros: The room was lovely and the cleaning staff did a great job with it. Also the woman at the front desk was polite and sweet and very helpful and answered all our questions. We also really enjoyed the relaxed environment of the restaurant out back in the gazebo as well. It was a very lovely experience.
Cons: Nothing really other than someone put the new toilet paper roll behind the "current" one and you couldn't get it out and it made it hard to get the toilet paper ROFL. That said, in the scheme of things that is super minor and probably done so people can find it but it was literally the only negative thing I could think of. The stay was a very positive experience.

Pros: Nothing
Cons: Everything
7.1 Good
Pros: Excellent breakfast, clean property, and convenient location
Cons: $30 for a pet fee was very unfair.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: The hotel was located conveniently to our interstate. There was a full breakfast with waffles, pastries, and juices and coffee and tea. We hit the road though without breakfast because of a planned stop later. The desk clerk found us another room when the remodeling that was underway at the hotel left our first room with no power.
Cons: We arrived late after a game in Washington DC. The first room we were booked into had been left with circuits off from the remodeling which the hotel is working on. This wasn’t expected and we were tired. (Desk clerk moved us to another room quickly after pre-checking electricity in that room. She even turned on all the lights in the new room for us.)
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Amazing staff, great breakfast very clean!
Cons: The bathroom was super small it looks like they updated the floor and sink area but kept the old tub/shower could use a really good scrub and I’m sure it would be fine but the water pressure wasn’t that great. I pulled as hard as I could to start the shower and water continued to come out of the spigot so the water pressure for the shower was low. Still a great room for a great price.

Pros: The breakfast was poor. I walk around the food and wondered if it was fresh or not. We then choose to eat out
Cons: The elevator was broken and we should have been notified so we could have changed the reservations. The reservations were not what we had booked. 3.0 Mediocre
Pros: Location to restaurants and Frederick Fairgrounds
Cons: We paid extra for a pet room. The carpet was FILTHY. They need to use the extra $$ they charge for pets and use it to actually CLEAN THE ROOMS. There were NO towels at all in our room upon arrival.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Friendly staff. Coffee available 24/7. Room size decent. Convenient parking.
Cons: The toilet seat in the room was loose. Almost fell over. Bath towels smelled of cigarettes even though we were in a non-smoking room.
2.5 Mediocre
Cons: I paid for the room, $89 and checked my account the next morning and there was and additional charge for $104 from them on my account. When I asked the front desk about it, I was told. I'm not sure why the system did that, but it's just a hold and it will drop off in 2-3 days. I wasn't advised of the possibility of a hold when I checked in. Sooo not cool.. thank God I'm not strapped for cash.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Pet friendly and I requested a first floor room which I had. I do think $20.00 per night for a pet when you are staying 2 consecutive nights is a bit steep.
Cons: It is not just your motel but almost all of them. When I hang up my towels that means I will use them again. The housekeeping staff always gives me new ones. That is not saving natural resources(water) or helping the environment by creating extra loads of laundry. For what it is worth, if you have ever traveled in a National Park (Yelloswstone, the Tetons) you will use your towels for 2 days whether you want to or not.

Cons: The guests in the room next to me were having a very physical and loud fight, when I called the night manager, she was very nice and helpful, my issue, it took a long time for staff and police to show up, they were not arrested nor made to leave, after cops left, this continued through the night, my child and I had no sleep at all.

9.6 Excellent
Pros: This is a VERY well-run hotel. The staff is really well trained, friendly and accommodating. For guests with mobility challenges, the room size is perfect. If you’re traveling to Frederick, and room demand is unusually high (Fallen Firefighters weekend), chaeck our WoodSpring Suites!
Cons: It would be nice to have personal lighting (lamps) for reading in bed, but the room lighting was fine. The toilet seat needed to be replaced, but front desk staff indicted it would be taken care of.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Did not use the breakfast, we left too early.
Cons: When we arrived we were met with a very "bad" attitude by the woman in the office. She was busy and did not acknowledge us for several minutes....just kept walking past us. Then she told us "someone would be with us in a minute". Another woman came out from the back of the office, walked past us and did some other work. There is a sign on the lobby to tell us that they were not there and to use the lobby phone to call 500 and someone would help us. We are about 8-10 minutes into standing there when I asked the tall woman where the phone was so I could call for assistance. She snapped back at me saying "I already told you someone would be here to help you in a few minutes" to which I replied that I had been standing there longer than a few minutes and she snapped back "it's only been three minutes". Her attitude told me that she was not interested in helping us check in and, in fact, when the shorter woman came out, she told her to assist us, which she did. All told, after a good 15-20 minutes, we had our room. We have stayed here several times in the past and never been met with such an unfriendly, snotty attitude. We will use this place again because the price is great and the rooms are very comfortable. We hope to not meet that tall, African American lady who clearly dislikes elderly white people again.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Bedroom, bathroom and kitchen area very well maintained.
Cons: Coffee wasn't very good.
