The lodge was very clean and comfortable. The cooking facilities were excellent and meant we didn’t have to eat out every night but made use of the oven & cooking utensils.
I was a little disappointed at the immediate area surrounding the lodge with a view to walking our dogs. We set off only to discover that the area showing as forest was now an area for cutting down trees and making logs.
Everything - stayed there last October as well - that was the reason for returning. Spacious ,well equipped accommodation, well located for walks, fishing, meal/pub options. Jim and Pauline the owners extremely helpful and friendly.
Nothing really. Unfortunately the restaurant at the Ferry (nether Lochaber side ) was closed that reduced the local options for eating but Inn at Ardgour and Inchree Restaurant provided good great food and friendly service.
Great amenities, but a bit of a learning curve on the first rate home theater, washer, dryer, water heater, and other features. Clear instructions are provided, and you’ll probably have it down after a day or two...
Everything was great!
Great facilities in an amazing area. Great space for being away from the hustle and bustle of life but also an amazing area to base yourself for other activities in the local area. Good walks close by and only 10 mins to fort William.
Shower areas could have been cleaned better, they were a bit grimy on the shower heads and along the shower screens
Comfortable, clean, spacious, great location for site seeing
Confusing and complicated hot water plumbing. Difficult to flush toilets. Skimpiness on some supplies: tp, bath soap, laundry detergent, dry goods (eg salt and pepper, coffee, etc, which are often left behind by previous renters).
