Pros:Staff was most enthusiastic and accommodating. Breakfast at El Vez was very good, with large and varied menu.
Cons:Even upgraded 2 BR suite resulted in sparsely furnished and poorly designed room. Overall the hotel is an immense, two-tower building crammed onto a small parcel of land, resulting in a cramped pool area (with deafening DJ music on Saturday!) that is overcrowded, has no open space and is not well-maintained (bird droppings sun-baked onto chaise mats, etc.). Certainly not a five-star resort; would not go back.
Cons:Loud club music at the pool. Couldn’t even hear each other over lunch. They bring in a DJ at 12pm and it’s not just happy or sexy music. It’s just as if you were at a club. If you want to relax, do it before 12pm on weekends.

Cons:It was sold out, and even though I had a guaranteed prepaid room, they had sold it cuz I was ‘late’ arriving! never stay here again! Unethical losers!
Cons:Under Construction, if a property is under construction it should be noted when booking. All of the hotel services were under par because of it

Cons:Ordered 95 dollar room service. Filet and wings. Filet extra burnt. Wings dry and trash. Complained. Got no credit. Needed fridge to store insulin called and received 4 hours later. Asked for towels at night waited 2 hours to shower. Worst

Cons:You can dress a hotel up as much as you like but at the end of the day it's the little things that matter. No amount of cool design and edgy décor can cover up shoddy (and rude!) service, uncomfortable beds, loud and difficult to control air conditioning, or disappointing food and drink. The check in staff was rude, the cocktail waitress was rude and slow, the food at breakfast was cold, my room was hot and cold, and the bed had been made by someone who doesn't believe in tucking in a fitted sheet to eliminate wrinkles. Even at half the price it was a rip off.

Cons:the ocean front pool was to cold they charge $34 a night to park they tried to charge me $25 just to take the goodie box & alcohol out of my room - insane
