Perfect location - just a short walk uphill to Piazza Michelangelo to see the spectacular view of whole Florence, and the same distance downhill to Ponte Vecchio. Spectacular but peaceful neighborhood. Hotel situated in a beautiful old villa.
Extremely small room - if you book a "superior" room you expect at least a standard not below. Breakfast costs 10 euros per person and includes hard boiled eggs, slices of cheese and ham, some mozarella with tomatoes and cereal w/milk. Coffee was not what we got used to drink in Italy. But the breakfast maid was VERY nice and helpful person - a bright point.
The exterior of the building is lovely and the staff are friendly. Good location for driving into the Tuscan countryside.
Very poor night's sleep: extremely small and uncomfortable room, bed rock hard, air con didn't work properly so woke up many times during the night burning hot, toilet didn't flush properly so smelt. Worst part was the parking; either pay €20 per day to park on site or risk getting your car smashed up outside (we saw a foreign car with a smashed window sadly). Their excuse was that those are the prices we'd expect to pay in Florence centre... well it's a very long walk from the centre and also if a Florence person spat on the floor, would that make it OK for me to do so too?! Two wrongs don't make a right, give the parking for free and stop ripping off customers even more so than you do already!
Staff was very welcoming, air conditioning working very well, very quiet at night.
almost everything,so clean,comfy,beautyful location,quiet sorroundings,
a little bit noisy in the night becouse of some tourists, wifi signal doing it s best only in the night when everybody was sleeping
Great support from the staff! Great location
Old plumbing in the bathroom, matter if getting used to how it works...
