When booking way in advance for 2 people, we deliberately chose a more expensive family suite, so that the room would be bigger, it was supposed to have a view and fit to our standards. Upon arrival, staff just showed us a standard small room on the ground floor pretending like it was what we booked. After 20 min of trying to argue in French, another hotel staff came who could speak English and admitted there was a mistake on their side. Since in Morocco you almost never pay in advance, but in cash on the spot, we were only then informed that this room will be cheaper, which was supposed to be communicated from the very beginning. We are super unhappy with the staff who confirm our reservation and never provide the booked room. Avoid rooms on ground floor - shower is barely working, everything is quite old, and the doors lead to main reception area, so you will hear the door bell or anything that happens at the reception, like people coming leaving etc. Terrace has a wonderful view, but unlike in other riads, to get to the terrace, you kinda go through the owners living room. Other than that the staff were friendly and welcoming. It’s relatively easy to find cause of the big signs on the way.
the family was friendly, there was a very beautiful balcony, the view was very open, and the breakfast was delicious. Each room was big, with warm blankets and balconies for drying clothes
It was a short walk from the blue door, and there were many "active" guides wandering around
This place was great! The room was clean, large and comfortable with air con/ heating. Perfect location in the old Médina. The staff were wonderful and kind and the breakfast was absolutely divine with: breads, eggs, Jams, honey, coffee & tea. The best is the view from the balcony which is really beautiful. I would highly recommend :) great accommodation for the price.
The terrace had a really nice view to the Medina, after about 52 stairs.
The room was on the ground floor, right by the main entrance with only a glass door and a little window with no glass that we had to cover the "hole" with a pillow. The room was covered with dust, everywhere, and we talking about 1cm layer of dust. Spider webs, used tissue of paper in the bedside table, etc. The shower was blocked therefore the water was accumulating and dirty was coming from the sewage.
Great location, right in the Medina. Very good breakfast and restaurant at the roof terrace with great view. Room we ultimately got was very comfortable. Friendly and helpful staff.
Quite noisy (but that was in all our Moroccan hotels). When we arrived our room wasn't available for the first night.
