We truly enjoyed our stay at Dar El Yasmine and the pleasant hosting of Jamal and Issam! The location is great since it’s in the heart of the Medina and just off one of the two main streets. Located only a few minutes by foot from Bab Boujloud which is an easy pinpoint to use for taxi’s and there are many restaurants in that area of the Medina. It was easy to book excursions through the guys; we went on a guided Fès tour which is highly recommendable as well as a trip to Chefchaouen. Also in terms of cleanliness and comfort there was nothing to complain. All in all a good place to spend your nights in Fès!
The family room was a little small
Sorry for the comment but hotel approach was highly not professional. I book a room more then a month before my trip for one night. Suddenly few days before my trip on booking I received cancellation request from property with the reason: lack of payment. Parallel they send a message and explain they want to cancel due to overbooking and explained that this happen due to system problem. Maybe that's true but I would expect better from hotel which exists 7 years on booking. Also they propose that I can stay in their other ''place''. Simply they lead me to other hotel in the neighborhood where I paid more and conditions were worst. In this situation hotel should provide better place or compensate price. I know one day stay is not so good for the business but when cancelling last minute approach towards client should be better.
Very good accomodation, nice staff with helpful tips. They arrange a lot of diferent 1 or more days trips with decent price. Very clean, gorgeus breakfast. Best of all we had in Morroco! Very nice interier. Would stay again!
The location is very good, almost in the heart of the medina but on a quiet alley. The room had a beautiful design, very interesting with the bathroom upstaires. Also they had good wifi, breakfast and a beautiful terrace
Depending on your room you can hear the people on the streets, but it's ok after 11pm. Our room had dampness and the bathroom window was a little bit at the street level.
Jamal and Issam are wonderful hosts and good company. They were there upon arrival by taxi. Daily breakfast was served with a variety of bread, eggs, fruits and yoghurt. The room was spotlessly clean and pretty big. Keep up your great work.
