Overview
Fairbanks Alaska's most unique hotel. Located in the heart of Fairbanks. AAA approved. The 14 acre landscaped riverfront is home to 86 private cottages. Enjoy our breakfast buffet, available for purchase, in Miner's Hall, located in the main lodge, daily. Chena's Alaskan Grill is your place on the river to enjoy dinner. Airport and Alaska railroad depot complimentary shuttle service. Open May 15 to September 15. Authentic cottages along the gentle Chena River where guests can enjoy the river view. Inside each cottage is equipped with two queen size beds, individual temperature control, ceiling fan, telephone, coffeemaker, hairdryer and private bath. Each cottage has screened sliding glass doors that open to a private patio overlooking the river or the landscaped garden.

Great Resort to enjoy this North Alaskan City. Pros: Peaceful and quiet layout with rooms arranged on cottages along a river walk. Good breakfast facility. Great Restaurant on premises. Cons (-) The name is misleading. It is definitely not a resort, but just a bunch of tiny cabins crammed together by the road.
Pros (+) Loved the fact it was a cottage, by yourself.
Pros (+) Individual cottages are super cute, quiet, and clean. Staff is great! Safe location

Cons (-) CRT TV Really? Bad TV reception. Flat panel TV and HD cable service is not much money.
