Everything it’s a beautiful building
The fact of COVID-19 spoilt the stay
Food quality poor and expensive, air ducted heating very noisy preventing sleep, banging doors, poor amount of natural light in room, room dark as lit by spotlights only, light switches that have dual function scattered around the room in odd places. TV not central to bed, room dusty, Parking charges £16 for an overnight stay in the hotel car park.
Room and decor of hotel were exceptional. Staff were super helpful before and during the stay. The location was great and my room was well appointed and in a quiet area.
Breakfast was far too expensive. There should be the option to just have a bowl of cereal and cup of tea for £8-10.
Very beautiful with character
Restricted electric lights in the bedroom - very dark Breakfast buffet selection limited
