All individuals friendly
Bed was comfy. Loved being on the lake! It is nice to have hot beverages available in the lobby.
Hot stuff for breakfast was, well, I am not a turkey sausage and flat cheese omelet person. The ready was ok. Typical hotel stuff.
Our room at the hotel was updated and spotless! The bed was so comfortable, I wished that we could have stayed more than one night. We appreciated some of the amenities at this resort, such as the movie rental and free popcorn from the front desk and tasty continental breakfast. One of the best perks is the free underground parking in a HEATED garage - amazing, especially on a -30 degree day!! We will definitely be back, hopefully in the summer so we can enjoy the lovely patio and gorgeous view of Lake Superior.
Rooms are pricey for weekend nights.
Overall, our stay was just the relaxation we were searching for. Our view was amazing! The more private location was appreciated. Very comfortable with fantastic bed pillows!
1) The patio door was wide open upon our arrival to the room. It was freezing inside for awhile. When we closed the door, it would not lock. It appears the door handle is faulty. Fortunately it was the 3rd floor. 2) Disappointed in the breakfast offerings and space. Very basic selection and picked over with 45 mins.-1hr. of serving time to go. For the price of our stay, we expected better.
Clean and quiet perfect for a romantic time
Vending is only in one spot to far away from our room
