Pros (+) I like the older original look of the building and rooms. The steak house was amazing
Cons (-) Extremely hot due to the very old steam heaters, smelled very musty, bathrooms need updating- toilet very close to wall and shower was cold the hot then cold no medium. It’s nice they are trying to keep room original and unique but they reallly need to update some parts. Very loud in the room

Pros (+) The historical period of the building was maintaned as close as possible . Right down to the push button light switches I had in my older house growing up
Cons (-) The overnight desk clerk smack talking other towns people with his buddy in the lobby

Pros (+) The staff were nice and the restaurant is excellent.
Cons (-) They put us in smoking rooms and I don’t smoke. The smell was strong and unpleasant.

Pros (+) I like old historic hotels; good complementary coffee, A/C was powerful and cool. Location in Deadwood.
