Bed comfortable and great breakfast
Temperature regulation for the room
Great management, poor facilities and corporate policy.
Breakfast was great when visited early (first two hours) Managers reception (5:30-7:30) is a great perk for drinks and snacks!
Elevator broke with guests inside. Engineering couldn’t fix the lift so the guest called the Dallas Fire Dept herself. Banquet Manger booked a party until 11:30pm that allowed loud music to be played until the end of booking (music was heard all throughout the facility until 11:30pm, sleep was impossible.) the vending machine on floor 3 accepted money but would not dispense products, ice machine on same floor was broken (with printed sign stating lack of service) for entire duration of stay. front desk staff has inadequate training to deal with customer complaints. When called about noise complaints twice I was referred to the “Hilton Honors Members” website to lodge complaint. When I spoke to the manager in person he did graciously accommodate my concern and discuss the situation clearly and respected my concern. Bar staff was friendly but cocktail servers were very rude and uninterested in service for customers. Daytime Bartender was talkative but enjoyed her text conversations more than service. I also was told that since I moved to Texas from California I wasn’t as welcome due to the quote, “flood of Californians seeking jobs” in Texas. That is true statement and quote. She was not malicious but didn’t see the insult or harm in the statement. I was just supposed to understand that Texans are upset about people seeking jobs in Texas and it’s a natural feeling (I wasn’t given and option about my next job assignment but, I love Texas and don’t hold her opinion against her)....the outside of the room windows were dirty to the point of the view of downtown Dallas being obstructed. Location to downtown is excellent and very convenient.
Great stay
The free breakfast and pool
Old outdated hotel that needs a lot of remodeling
The staff was great. Free breakfast. Nice location. Clean. It must be really nice hotel in 1990. Landry room. restaurant and bar is nice on the bottom floor. Nice design for this building. (open space in the middle)
The room we stayed at which was 632 was falling apart. The shower was old and dirty even though they used white paint to cover it up. The mirror was not straight and was about to fall down. Phone was not working unless I fix the phone cable in the back. The outlet by the table was not screwed in, so the whole box came out before I unplug something in there. The TV stand shelf by the entrance door by the sofa was broken and not usable. I was staying there on April 27th and May 1st over the weekend. From Friday to Sunday there were many families, and a lot of children. There were many children without manners with uneducated adults to make breakfast unpleasant experience for that time being. I was not complaining because it was free but there were many children with PJ on eating and making mess at the free breakfast. :( It was pretty expensive for what it is worth, and I was disappointed.
Great place to stay
Loved this hotel all around, great location, traveling with a uhaul & had plenty of safe parking
Weekend Getaway
The staff was very friendly and my room was clean and quiet.
I was charged twice due to the computer system not recognizing my original booking.
Great location for our purposes. The accommodations are what we have come to expect from Embassy Suites. Room was perfect for family of four and the breakfast was awesome. Staff was extremely friendly and helpful. Will stay there if we ever have to go to Scottish Rite Hospital again or need to stay near downtown Dallas.
Too much chlorine in the pool and hot tub...
We do loved the happy hour!
Embassy not so suite
The location had to be the best part of it .
Stayed at other locations and really liked it. This one has changed my mind on trying another location besides the one I know of . The room climate control was horrible either room was too hot or too cold. In our last night there was a wedding , loud music right above it couldn't get sleep till after midnight . The guest of it were also so rude like we didn't belong at the hotel . The pool area dirty along with the water. Parking lot trashy . Below standards of other locations as stated earlier.
Building was COLD. Impossible to sleep due to road noise. Upkeep was lacking and building is showing it's age
Good place to stay.
Good breakfast and evening manager reception.
A party going on at night till 1230 am
That we had a suite. The space and lay out of the room was perfect. Breakfast was good.
Dirty. Saturday morning breakfast area was very dirty. The other mornings were fine, but that morning dishes ran out, there was syrup on the floor, dirty and empty food containers. All the tables were dirty. There was one poor girl staffing the whole area of about 100 guests. Poor management that morning. rooms smelled like mildew.
