Great ski-in, ski-out location, good parking, nice to have a games room for kids. friendly bar staff. Nice comfortable bar to relax in.
I understand it was a pet friendly hotel, but when you are in a room with two barking dogs next door, that cry and moan when they are left alone, and bark during the night, it pretty unfair for other paying guests. We were woken up countless times by dogs and I did complain to reception but it didn’t seem to make a difference. The half board food was not pleasant all. Three nights in a row the vegetarian option was a rehash of potatoes from the night before. Breakfast was terrible. Worst scrambled eggs ever. Best thing was being able to make a decent cup of tea. The sauna/steam facilities wasn’t working on a few occasions which was one reason we picked the hotel, was to look forward to a relaxing steam at the end of a long day skiing. The facility was often left in a mess and clearly never checked by house keeping. Dirty towels left in a pile because there was no place for guests to leave them. Shower temperature was inconsistent, lovely and warm one minute and scolding hot the next. Quite hard to leave my 13 year old in the shower to regulate it by himself without hearing him yell Games room right next to gym, so at times people working out blaring out loud explicit hip hop music which was not ideal when kids are playing next door. Lounge area with TV resembled an old people’s care home.
Excellent location, located on the ski slope, from where you can quickly reach the other slopes from Cortina. The hotel staff is very ok and very welcoming. The economy room in which we stayed has old but beautiful furniture, and it is very clean ( a big plus here for the nice women who clean the rooms daily and also change the towels ). The restaurant inside is very ok, you are served quite quickly and the food is very good, I recommend the snitel ( cotoleta ) and baiconburger, and also the guy who serves is very funny. The hotel also has a relaxation area where we stayed for a few beers with friends.
I stayed in room 8 (economy) and it was a bit cold at night and also a little noise from the neighboring room because between the two rooms it was a door. The sauna is very small, there is room for up to four people.
Matteo at the bar was amazing, constant attention, drinks food etc. The food was lovely & the drinks superb. Would definitely recommend eating at the bar rather than the restaurant. Ski in ski out was fantastic , boot room & ski store was also good. Hotel was clean & all staff attentive & helpful.
If you have an early flight, make sure you have a shower the night before as hot water is only available at peak times
It is very well located. Ski just at the back door.
The room did not match the pictures. We request for connecting rooms 6 months in advance and they informed us that was not available. But we came to know that there was this possibility.
