Large comfortable room and bed. Beautiful old building. Nice little pool to have a dip in.
The lady who is running the place did not seem very hospitable. We arrived early in the morning from a night bus. She told us the room is not ready yet. Later on I found out that the hotel was empty except for one other room?! It would not have cost her anything extra to provide us with the room early, instead she made us wait until 2 pm. Breakfast is basic but ok. No buffet but a choice of a set breakfast. Found it strange you had to pay extra for eggs. Also drinks we ordered in the hotel were very expensive compared to anywhere in the city.
Literally a hidden, quiet and beautiful gem in the center of the city
Simple but lovely accommodations. Great respite from a crazy city. Totally quiet retreat. Simple but nice breakfast. Warms and welcoming staff.
A lovely hotel with lots of character: a beautifully restored historic building with real hardwood floors (!), excellent breakfasts, delightful garden and pool, a lovable greyhound, and great massage at a reasonable price. The neighborhood is nice, just off a major street on a pedestrian thoroughfare that leads to the historic downtown.
Attentive, personalised service.
