Very low water pressure in the showers. Personnel in the reception not properly trained.
Comfy bed, good location
Check in was not very well organized and they had renovations going on.
The location is very good in walking distance to the major attractions. The hotel aims to provide an overview of the mid-century Danish design.
Some of the rooms do not meet the hotel standards. There is no closet in the room and they recommend to leave the things in the suitcase and to push the suitcase under the bed. It is not working for a 5-day-business-trip. The bathroom has no heating and the shower courtain is old and blotchy. Apparently there are nice rooms in the hotel, too. It is not possible to find out before the reservation. The hotel sent some strange mails before check-in offering an upgrade and asking for a suggested additional price. As I asked at the reception if there is any better room as mine available, they denied. Obviously I was asked to pay more for the same room. The service is very poor in the hotel and in the restaurant, especially for the breakfast and does not correspond with the hotel category as described.
Location and restaurant attached to it are awesome! They give you a $100 DK voucher per day if you opt out of house keeping and can be used in the restaurant. The food and drinks are delicious. Hosts are very friendly and helpful.
The shower/bathrooms don’t have an air extractor so the humidity lingers around causing the room to have a constant water stagnant smell which we would just leave the window open all day while we were gone. There were several of us that stayed here and it was the same case for most of us. Some changed rooms because it was too unbearable. Side note - you must leave the key with receptionist every time you leave the hotel and get it back from them upon your return. Not a big deal, but if the receptionist is super busy with customers you just have to wait a bit.
Very good hotel (clean, with a 24/7 reception, enough space in the room, lift). Coffee/tea available in the room and a nice seating area in the lobby. The restaurant looked nice too, but we didn't have any meals there, so I can't comment on the food. The location is excellent - close to several sights and right next to metro/bus stops. And for those who like a bit of history and design, this hotel has rooms that look like typical rooms from previous decades (50's - 70's). The TV set was new though :-)
Nothing negative to mention. The price was a bit high, but this is Copenhagen. Compared to other hotels I was looking at when I booked, the price of this one was one of the best (excluding hostels of course). I would give a rating of 8,5 if it were possible.
