The location was perfect. The hotel was clean, quiet and comfortable. Great bar and spectacular restaurant. Breakfast was wonderful. Staff was both helpful and exceptionally courteous. All in all, a wonderful place to stay in Copenhagen.

The staff at 71 Nyhavn are friendly and welcoming and made our stay easy and comfortable. We were travelling with a dog and he was greeted with treats and amenities (bowls, etc.) in our room. Although dogs aren't allowed in the main breakfast room or the hotel restaurant, we were able to enjoy breakfast and also order from the full restaurant menu while we remained in the bar area.

Walls are too thin and do not isolate noises from next door guest.

We really loved the comfy bed and the homely feel of the room. We also had a wonderful view from our window. The breakfast was good and we also dined in the restaurant which was excellent. It was a good location for winter time but I imagine it would be a fabulous location come summer in Copenhagen.

Overview
The 71 Nyhavn Hotel offers a great location along with a fascinating history and places guests right on Copenhagen’s waterfront in the Nyhavn District. The hotel is actually two converted warehouses dating to the 17th century and is steps from the famous Copenhagen Canal Boat Tours departure point, while Stroget, the main shopping area, is around two thousand feet from the front door. The Amalienborg Palace, Copenhagen Opera House, Royal Theatre, Danish Film Institute, National Museum, and many other city treasures are also less than a mile away. The Copenhagen Airport is four miles from the hotel and though it is a walker’s neighborhood, it is within easy reach of the ferry terminal and public transportation hubs.
In addition to a nearly unbeatable location overlooking the canals, the hotel has a long list of premium services and amenities, as well. Guests can enjoy bike rentals, a concierge service with bespoke tours and ticketing options, laundry and dry cleaning services, a small business center, and car rental or transportation desk. There are always free hot beverages in the lobby, and breakfast is served every day in the charming and historic cellars. Parking is available for a fee and the hotel is noted for its dog-friendly design, welcoming them to anywhere in the hotel (except the restaurant).
