10.0 Excellent
Pros: We've stayed at Coeur de Lion before and will stay again. The place is awesome. Excellent value. Comfortable, secluded, friendly family run B&B. Home cooked breakfasts every morning. And the view! Don't worry about the winding drive to the place. It's worth it. Can't think of any place better to stay in Coeur d'Alene!

Pros: One of a kind place to stay: great decor, amazing views from the terrace facing lake Coeur d'Alene. Family atmosphere with great food and great service. Hotel employee is amazing hostess.

Pros: Exceptional décor, all handmaid by the host, lent an extraordinarily eclectic yet homey feel to the place. The hosts were friendly and accommodating. Breakfast was delicious. The area was beautiful and there was a visiting moose in the morning.
Cons: No.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Breakfast was delightful meeting some of the lodges. We enjoyed our time Dave and Sandy spent visiting with us. This area draws me to return.
Cons: Carol's only concern was no window in the basement. Next time we will be upstairs.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: I highly recommend! I truly haven't experienced such a wonderful stay as here. The moment you enter, you are enlightened. I'm a bit sensitive and selective, and instantly felt comforted and even a little spoiled. ; ) It was like being at home, yet a magical home!! The hosts effort is remarkable, from your personal welcome at your room, serving spectacular breakfasts while accommodating individual dietary needs, and so much more. I'm one of those 'free people'...gluten, dairy, soy free etc..and I'm so appreciative to not have just gotten an apple on my plate! In fact, in every aspect here, there is creativity and care. You could spend your whole day admiring the extremely talented hosts artwork that surrounds you. The location and views are breathtaking, and on my last morning we even got a little snow to top it all off. The drive to the property is easy peasy, there are lots of musical instruments available to play with, room was way comfortable and I loved soaking in the vintage claw foot tub!! I was in the area for some family time following the loss of my dear mother, and I felt so acknowledged. After a deep feeling day, as I was serenaded by kind musical brother travelers, our sweet hostess even brought me wine ...and popcorn!! It was hard to leave, and am looking forward to my next visit! PS, there are LIONS all around the home, definite added smiles for this Leo Lioness.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The meals and the hosts were amazing :) the view could not be beat!
Cons: Only thing for me was how far it was out of town but in the end it was worth it
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Sandy has a loving spirit: a joy of a host. Loved the hot breakfast, the log cabin turned castle, comfy beds, and super calm and quiet location. Know that you won’t be walking to the corner coffee shop. The b&b is way back up a windy drive just out of town. The tucked away in the woods aspect is part of the charm. And this home is, indeed, a charm.
9.0 Excellent
Pros: The character of the house.
9.0 Excellent
Pros: The uniqueness, the view
Cons: Sharing a bathroom
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Friendly owners

6.0 Good
Pros: I was locked out of the facility twice at one point, I was told by the cook that I was going to “get what I get and not throw a fit” for breakfast. When all I did was in choir to how do I sign up for breakfast, because I have food allergies. I was not impressed with how I was treated I came for medical treatment and I picked your place because I wanted A lovely comfortable place to stay. The bed was amazing. The bathrooms are small but do the trick. As comfortable as the room was I will not be back and I will not refer this facility. It’s the little things that matter and I do believe that your place usually does that when management is around. But there seem to be a major lack of management the night I was there. thank you for a beautiful hotel, but not the most beautiful stay.

Pros: The location is terrific, just 4 blocks off the main avenue, an easy walk. The breakfast was excellent both days. The proprietors and staff were friendly and accomodating. The bed was very comfortable, I slept very well.
Cons: Housekeeping left something to be desired. The bathroom trash was not emptied, dirty towels were not replaced, nor removed. I would expect more than that from such a nice property.

Pros: I and my manfriend liked everything about our stay. The breakfast was very tasty, especially the zucchini bread and the watermelon. Nancy fixed a nice lunch, with last minute notice, to take with us. I would recommend staying there.
Cons: I can't think of anything!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: our stay was very short, but it was perfect. the place was excellent, not just our room which was immaculate but also the common living room. the little snacks and wine available at all hours was exceptional. The host was a lovely person and her suggestion on how we spend our day seemed tailored to my wife and i, and was exactly what we wanted. Then to top it all off she made a second breakfast just for the 2 of us because when we came down for breakfast we told her we don't eat some of the ingredients in her initial main dish (we gave her know prior indication of our dietary restrictions). we would have been happy to just eat the yogurt, homemade granola, fruit and pastries, but no she went out of her way to make separate main dishes for us.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: The location is great. In a very nice historic neighborhood close to downtown. Having the bikes was a plus. The breakfast was excellent and the eating area was in a nice big room overlooking the yard. The host had a lot of knowledge of the area and was very helpful.
Cons: We stayed in the large room on the main floor. The bathroom had a door that connected with the kitchen which made it feel like we were in the same room. With all of the doors in the room, privacy was a concern. The bed was kind of small and hard.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Nancy was a great host. She gave us information about the area which helped in our decision of how to spend our limited time. Breakfast was wonderful too!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Wonderful place and wonderful owner. Beautiful, clean and stylish room with private bath, excellent breakfast, great position. The perfect place.

Pros: Nice location, attractive old house, comfortable bed.
Cons: It looked like no one had vacuumed under the bed or radiators for months. My wife dropped a pill, which rolled under the bed and was consumed by a dust ball the size of New Jersey. Don't let the photos of the exterior fool you. I've paid a lot more for a room and had a lot less. Plenty of hot water and pressure in shower. Bed linen very nice, loved the pillows. Staff certainly went the extra mile. Lots of little extra touches in the room. No noise from neighbors or street. Good value for the area. Lobby area and designated area clean and nicely decorated. We'd stay again.
Cons: Free breakfast was just okay. Maybe the two egg breakfast with sausage is not the best choice. Service and presentation was nice. Bed was a little firm for my liking, however my husband loved it. There was a slight odor to the room when we first entered which we quickly got used to. TV screen is curved, but certainly watchable with plenty of channels.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The owners are on site and were very friendly and helpful. Location is very walkable to restaurants and downtown CDA
Cons: A little bit of road noise, but not continual.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: What a great stay! Nice clean rooms, friendly and accommodating staff with a personal touch at every turn. Tasty made-to-order breakfast choices and a peaceful little garden/sitting area. Looks like a motel. Acts like a B&B. Thanks hotel employee
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Super clean room with comfortable clean beds. I always lift up the sheets and look at the mattress. I’m terrified of seeing something gross. Our mattresses were as clean as anyone Would expect. In the Asian lady which I think I own’s makes you breakfast in the morning. Pretty cool place I would definitely go back
Cons: I really can’t think of anything. It was better than most places you’d pay at least 60% more for
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The hotel was easy to find and in a quiet neighborhood. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The room was clean, simply furnished, comfortable, and had everything we expect from a nice hotel. Breakfast is made to order fresh (appropriate portion sizes, not over-sized). We will stay again.

7.9 Good
Pros: The hotel was located where we wanted to stay. Has an indoor pool and Jacuzzi. It was clean and comfortable. Staff friendly and accommodating.
Cons: The AC didn't work properly in our room. The breakfast was not very good. The eggs and bacon were OK, but the biscuits and sausage gravy were the worst I have ever had as was the pastry. Breakfast tables left unwashed. Also no glass glasses in rooms just coffee cups and those cheap plastic cups. Unusual when staying in a suite.
1.0 Poor
Cons: No hot tub the pool was moss green. I picked a hotel with a pool. Kids whole trip is the swimming pool and no pool. Epic fail

Cons: N/A
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Hotel employee who checked us in was amazing. She was able to assign us two rooms that had adjoining doors. Both rooms were clean.
Cons: The towels should not be stored close to the floor. The doors were open to the room when we got there, I guess it was waiting to be checked by management. Pool was cold and the hot tub was under construction which was disappointing. Dryer took 2 hours.
7.5 Good
Pros: Nice very big room. However the staffs were not very friendly.
Cons: Nice.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Great hotel, central location, responsive staff, free breakfast, what more can I say this hotel was awesome.
5.0 Okay
Cons: I had a ground floor room along the parking lot. The main curtains were bolted to the ceiling in a way that they could never be closed. Not only did that allow for zero privacy since the room was next to guest parking, it also let in a ton of light.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Friendliness of staff
10.0 Excellent

Pros: The woman that checked me in and out was very nice and quick! She has really short hair and nose piercing. I didnt catch her name, but she was so sweet! The rooms also had a fridge, and microwave. Furthermore, they included a couch in the rooms! So handy! They also are dog friendly! Such and amazing feature.

8.0 Excellent
Pros: The bed was very comfortable.
Cons: We were on the first floor (basement) and our a/c unit was in the window. We did not have blackout curtains bc of the a/c unit. The a/c also made a high pitch noise off and on. Our room smelled like covered up wet dog, we put essential oils on a Kleenex.
5.0 Okay
Pros: Staff was really polite and ready to help.
Cons: First room smelled like pets and smoke really bad so was moved to another room. In that room we found multiple pills on the floor once the pull out bed was moved a bit to pull it out. Having children it was scary cause they could of thought it was candy.

Pros: Location for our needs was good.
Cons: Very noisy. Every time a room door closed we heard it. People coming ask night. Exterior noise wasn’t a factor.
3.0 Mediocre
Pros: Beds were comfy, room was clean. Although we were placed in the basement which is a little bit dungeony.
Cons: The hot tub was cold. We went in it anyway. But you’d think for 24hr pool facilities they’d keep the hot tub hot to avoid bacteria growth & other issues...

6.7 Good
Pros: The bed was comphy and the room was clean and nice.
Cons: One of the staff burst into the room while I was standing in the middle of the room naked, getting ready to take shower. Then instead of turning right around she stood there staring at me telling me know one was supposed to be in that room. I had to tell at her to get the hell out before she left. Next I'm not sure if it was staff or customers but the doors to some of the rooms were just getting slammed all night.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: I originally was supposed to stay at the Rodeway Inn, but when I got there it was the most rundown hotel ever.. I didn’t even sleep under the cover cause I felt uncomfortable, but here was so different. The rooms and beds were so comfortable and the shower was great. The staff was great and helpful as well with the early checkin, I had a great experience.
Cons: The only things I would say that I didn’t like was the WiFi service and the tv kept loosing signal as well. The sausage they served in the morning wasn’t all the way cooked either I don’t think but other then that it was great.

5.0 Okay
Pros: I appreciated that the hotel was right downtown and it was very walkable to the main street and restaurants. It was also very easy to book last minute online.
Cons: Although it was nice it was close to downtown, I thought it was too expensive for the actual value of the hotel. It was very noisy being on the main street with the road noise also. After I shower and I put a towel down to mop up the water on the floor, and when I picked it up it was very dirty. They could make some improvements to increase their value of what they are charging.
