The room was too hot when we walked in and took a few hours to cool down

Nothing like the Pictures
The king size room was big, the bed wasn't bad, it had plenty of mirror and counter space and lots of plugins.
The pictures made it look a little out of date but not terrible. Well sorry to say that's not the case. It's the most unsavory hotel on Wilma Rudolph. The whole place is filthy. As soon as you walk in the door to go to the rooms the stairs were nasty and the smell. When we made it up the 20steep stairs with our bags and started down the hallway it was the length of the building. It was creepy at night because some of the hall lights were out. The rooms where absolutely filthy the shower was tiny just like the bathroom. You couldn't have made me sit in that tub. The ring in the tub was visibly brown. The carpet needed vacuumed there was still wrappers on the floor. There are no dresser drawers. They had a 19 inch tube tv with fuzzy cable. The walls were super thin and you could hear everything through the walls. The smell of marijuana was thick atfter dark especially in the hall. The house keeping doesn't show up until the day you leave and asks you if you're staying or checking out. Very rude. We ran out of toilet paper the first day and the towels were thin and scratchy.

A gem off of I24
Friendly helpful staff, quiet and comfortable.
Safety door needs maintenance too easy to leave open.
