really good choices and delicious breakfast. Staff was very friendly as well. But if you have 4-5 nights or more, you tend to ran out of options.
After several days of stay, options are the same, so you start going outside for Breakfast
The bed was heavenly!
The bar area was stylish and fun. Great bartenders and service.
Didn’t think the spa services we had were as exceptional as I would have expected at this high end of a property.
The location is the best thing about the hotel. Close proximity to all things downtown and also close to LSD to go north or south (to MDW).
The hotel room is dated. It didn’t feel luxurious at all. The bed is SUPER uncomfortable and you feel you are sliding off the mattress because it is so lopsided. The bathroom looks dated as does the furniture in the room. Wallpaper in my room was peeling off the wall in many parts of the room. Stains on the carpet. Overall it just didn’t feel like a five star hotel. The partial lake view and view of Hancock was nice...but again not worth the price when you can easily go to the lake and enjoy a better view.
Everything about the Ritz is well thought out and planned with the guest in mind.
