Pros: STAFF were supper friendly, nice, and helpful. Wonderful people all of them! Location is great! Look and decor were very cool. Hip and modern with a touch of swank. Cons: Sharp corners on end of bed that I kept running into. Not much clearance between lovely bed little desk. Have several bruises from passing between them.
First Chicago Visit Gem!Pros: Location was great! Hotel staff was very friendly and responsive. Room was clean and comfortable. Loved the coffee shop, rooftop lounge and restaurant.Cons: Elevator was a wait sometimes.
Last Minute TreatPros: Liked everything about that Hotel. Would love more deals and hook ups but I really can't complain. Shopped around for a good price, they upgraded us without request and with no charge added. Staff was super pleasant and catered to us without question.
Excellent Boutique hotel Pros: Beautiful view of the park and lake! Great rooftop bar and unique decor in the rooms. I also loved Elaine's coffee call downstairs. Cons: They should place a mirror above the desk and move the coffee bar so it's not in the closet - hard to find.
Pros: Helpful staff, great location.Cons: Bed was very hard and pillows were not great. Invest in some top pillows!
Not quitePros: Location, location, location and general friendliness of the staff. We stayed there on a special and paid about what it is worth, a third of the normal priceCons: A boutique hotel at this location is a great idea, but the decorating---plaids everywhere in a small space--is enough in itself to drive you mad. And it really doesn't cover up this was once a Day's Inn. You pay a lot of money for hotels in Chicago and this is a one of a kind location. That's about all it has going for it.
Pros: Excellent hotel. Terrific location. Staff is outstanding. I highly recommend to anyone visiting Chicago.
Pros: The front desk staff were very nice and helpful, especially Edgar. Cons: The heat/air conditioning is provided by a wall unit, making it hard to find the optimal temperature in the room. I was either too hot or too cold.
Pros: The front desk service really put it over the top!Cons: The elevators took a long time and the one of the baristas on the main floor coffee shop was quite rude.
Pros: The roof top bar. The view was amazing!!
Great shower head! Cons: The AC in the room was not working to well
Great Hotel, great location...BUT rooms varyPros: We've stayed at Hotel Lincoln several times and always had a positive experience. The location is perfect for us, and there's lots to do within walking distance (great shops and restaurant, parks, zoo, Navy Pier, etc.) The staff are great, the rooftop bar is a nice experience (especially on a nice clear night) and even the little coffee shop off the lobby is good. The rooms are small, but cozy and have everything you need. Cons: Your experience may vary quite a bit depending on your room/location. Those on the higher floors tend to be more quiet and private. Similarly, if you spring for the "lake view" you can either get something higher up that directly faces the lake (Amazing!) or something a few floors down that, technically, does offer a lake view, but only if you sort of lean and look out your window at an angle. On our most recent stay, we had a 2nd floor room, and while fine it was our least enjoyable stay. There was noise from the street/construction, and there was no privacy shade on the window, so our choices were either to nearly black out room with the regular shades fully down OR open those shades and invite pedestrians a pretty clear peak into our room. Also, the room lacked a full length/floor mirror that other rooms in the past have had. Not a huge deal, but the mirror is nice when someone else is in the bathroom or its mirror still has the fog of a recent shower.
