Friendly room cleaner
Everything about the place
Close to night bazaar
Carpet is dirty and the blanket is old
The guy at the tour desk was really nice
The rooms were falling apart. Bathroom was leaking. Cockroaches floating around. Curtains were ripped.
This hotel is terrible. We were made to feel as if we were imposing from the minute we walked in . The wifi was intermittent at best and the pool was filthy. The bath was dirty and toilet seat was cracked and very unhygienic. We had to as for a different room because the one they gave us was so dirty.
The location was great. It has it's own entrance so there isn't a lot of noise pollution from people walking on the streets or the bars/clubs nearby. The breakfast wasn't the best but it wasn't bad. Just not a lot of choices and you have to get there fast because they have tours that will eat up all the meat and they don't really restock. Also I made my reservation via booking.com and asked for specific room locations and they accommodated to all of it! You're really getting your money's worth and you don't have to worry about the cleanliness like with street food.
Now if you're an uptight person that can't live with bare minimums in life this hotel won't be for you. It's very old and the renovations are zero to none. There's cracks and mold along the cracks (no black mold I'm assuming), but the cleaning staff tries their best. The room is clean as clean can be and if you feel it's dirty then the staff will accommodate and give you a new room. They don't use heated pans for the breakfast buffet so the food will get cold as it gets later into the morning (breakfast is 6am-10am if I'm not wrong). But again it's a cheap place to stay at and the food is made very clean so you don't have to worry about stomachaches. I was disappointed by the pool because it hasn't been cleaned and there are no lights so swimming in the early evenings seems to be a no no.
