Friendly although slow service at the rental counter in Leon. Friendly and helpful service in Mexico City. At window had a big crack and there were a lot of scratches and dents on the car.2.0 Poor

When we arrived late evening in Leon and went to the Europcar counter, our "reservation" didn't mean anything. The people in front of us were dealing with the same issue - there was one car, two of us with reservations, and both of us had a price quoted that was DOUBLE what our reservation said. (they added in insurance, a different location drop off fee and a commission, even though none of that was mentioned in our reservation). We ended up walking away and taking cabs for the week. DO NOT RENT FROM EUROPCAR and don't think your reservation means anything.Hertz

I usually go with Hertz because is a well known company and it gives me security. Unfortunately, this time Hertz was a disappointment the car that I rented was in an unsafe state. The tires where in such a bad condition that he refused to take the car. The other car they gave him had no cap in one tire. I just want to say that who ever is in charge anywhere they should take into consideration the safety and have all there cars well maintained.National

The staff at the car lot were helpful. Car was clean and great.Cons:
Too many hidden fees, it cost double the price once you got there, they make you get an insurance, they make leave a insane amount of deposit, like between 2000 US dollars to 10k US dollars. So if ur renting a car in Mexico, make sure you know u will have to buy a rental insurance, the price quoted is not the price you will pay, and be ready to leave a big deposit, make sure you have 10k cleared on your credit card.Routes Car & Truck Rentals

Smaller than what I had chosen, I reserved ahead of time and I was under the assumption based on my confirmation that I would be getting a Dodge Avenger or something as big but when I got there the lady told me all cars were rented already and had to get a small car. The insurance was crazy high. The car itself to rent was only about $40 for the week but yhe insurance was over $400 and to only cover 20% if we do get in an accident. Total ripoff. Will never rent from thrifty again.2.0 Poor

Your web page doesn't specify that in order to get the car you have to buy their rental insurance or you don't get the car!! Even though I bought rental and travel insurance in the USA they don't accept that one I don't know why you have to pay car insurance twice,very bad on your part KAYAK2.0 Poor
