Rented an Opel Vectra for 10 days in Izmir. Car was in excellent condition. Service and employees were very friendly and made sure to answer all of our questions. Cons:
Overselling insurance since the rental is not done using their own site. They insist the legal minimums are not covered and you need to buy the full complete package not just the legal requirement. That increased the cost by 50%. They urged never used sites like kayak or other but only use their Corp site otherwise they will charge extra fees for insurance.Enterprise Rent-A-Car

Cars are given to you with a dead empty tank, and you are expected to return it empty also, which is impossible to do unless you like stopping at every gas station and putting in a couple of litres. I would imagine they then use that gas you left in it for their leisure. Car apparently had a 200km limit even though I booked unlimited, so had to argue that point home upon returning the vehicle. Also no info was given about the road tolls when I picked up the vehicle, which is kind of pertinent around Izmir.5.6 Fair

Payless car rentals did not bother to inform the local rental agency that we had rented the car! Inexcusable, shocking fail on their part. This caused needless delay, and could easily have become a big problem. I reserved an automatic, which is not the norm in Turkey. We ended up getting very lucky that the company had 1 automatic left. Pleased to say that Payless was unable to ruin this epic part of our Turkish adventure!2.0 Poor
