The bed was comfortable
The room I stayed in was outdated and dark
Overpriced, smoky version of a Days Inn.
Location only
Room was smoky. Air conditioner would not cool the room lower than 70F even after it was inspected. Daily room cleaning was highly variable but consistently poor. Feels extremely dated. Terrible value.
Perfect location with a great staff
The location was perfect. Could not be better to walk around town. Meeting street is there and the market is right there plus you are one block from King street. Parking is easy as well and the hotel area is safe. The pool is small but right on meeting street and has covered seatinbso you can watch the pool but be out of the sun if you want to. That was neat.
THe halls were under construction. They appear to have needed the renovation. Room was nice but it is small. We were not in it much so it was fine. If you are in the room a lot, this is a challenge.
So-so
The location was very good. I liked that they gave you 2 water bottles each day. The shower was great and the bathroom was VERY large.
The bed was very uncomfortable and the pillows were a joke. They were tiny and lumpy. The room could have been better maintained. One of the drawer pulls came loose. One day we didn't have enough towels. They usually provide 3 or 4, but we only had 2. I use 2 towels when I shower (one for hair and one for body). I didn't realize there were not enough towels. My husband got out of the shower and didn't have a towel! I had to give him one of my wet towels. When I told the girl at the front desk, she didn't even apologize. She just made a note to provide us with extra towels. We didn't want EXTRA towels. We just wanted the normal number. The AC was VERY loud! I had to turn up the TV every time it turned on.
Convenient to Historic Charleston
Parking across the street - but only once. Other times parkng was available in the hotel parking lot.
A very good room, bed and bathroom, well located
No complaints
The staff was very efficient. They helped me with every request I had. They also were very helpful on answering questions I had about the city.
The only problem I encountered was ordering room breakfast on Sunday morning. We had an early flight and wanted to have breakfast before leaving to the airport. I asked for an order slip at the front desk, and I was not told breakfast was not served on early Sunday mornings. By the time I was leaving, I got a call from the restaurant informing me there was no room service until later. Obviously, th problem is that the slip you fill out does not specify the exception of early breakfast on weekends.
The rooms were recently renovated and very nice. We were treated well by the staff. It was in a very convenient location. would definatley stay there again
We particularly liked the helpfulness of the staff.
