While somewhat dated, the room and facilities were clean and comfortable. Breakfast was excellent. Location was perfect for my needs and everything was conveniently located. I cannot say enough good things about the staff, they were all wonderful, professional and helpful. I would stay again.

Pros (+) Room was 20x11 nicely appointed for a comfort inn. But no towel racks in bathroom. Why do parents allow their children to run freely throughout the hallways? The hotel should have a "kid free floor".
Cons (-) Beds were comfortable for 1 night, but I would not want to stay there for more than 1 night. Breakfast was the typical fare that you would find at discount hotels. Pre-fab eggs.

Pros (+) Located 1 mile away from hisoric downtown Charleston.
Cons (-) The hotel! The room was ok but airconditioner did not work. Breakfast was no good. Hotel management decided to redo the parking lot during Spoletto Fest, typically a very busy weekend. Parking lot was very small, little to no room to park. Need to iron a shirt? Don't bank on using their iron and iron board. Both were run down. The iron did not even heat ip. Pros (+) I think hotel breakfasts have been going downhill over the pat few years. However, I was pretty impressed with the selection of breakfast foods offered. I didn't have to actually wait to get my hotel keys fixed- they didn't work after they were in my wallet all day long. As a female I enjoyed the makeup remover wipes- what a savior honestly. Cons (-) I tried taking the stairs one morning from the 3rd floor to the lobby. The stairs didn't lead to the lobby or maybe I didn't go far enough.
