We liked the villa and the territory. Especially I liked how the house is furnished and decorated. Personnel was very kind and helpful despite they do not speak English. The villa located on the first line near the sea and view is very nice. However i do not think private beach is suitable for swimming because of the stones in the water.
you have to walk to the Ilica beach for a while but it isn't s a big deal
Villa Kore has 2 complexes, opposite the street from each other – one is a modern complex with many rooms, a pool, and a wonderful sunny breakfast area. The other is a ‘big house’ boutique hotel with its own pool, grass chill area with sun loungers etc, leading down to their own small private beach. Both are wonderfully decorated with colourful pieces of art from around the world. We stayed in the Boutique hotel side in the last week of Ramadan, starting our stay in the weekdays leading up to the Eid weekend – so it was very quiet. The main hostess Damla and her team were getting the place ready for the start of season – as we were some of the only guests at that time, they treated us like royalty! During the Ramadan days, as we were the only 2 having breakfast, Damla and team setup a table for us by the pool (and one day on the grass side of the hotel by the ocean), and served us a full Turkish Breakfast – everything was top class, from the jams to the bread to the tea. Once the Eid weekend arrived, many guests arrived due to the series of public holidays – breakfast was then in the modern complex’s breakfast area on the top floor of the building – it was a buffet setup, but still top quality jams, breads, fruit, olives, cheeses etc etc – a truly magnificent breakfast. Damla and team really strive to keep the guests happy and give them a fantastic experience. The staff all have multiple roles, so you can ask anyone for assistance. While lying on sun loungers / couches on the grass, you are offered Turkish coffee, water drinks etc – outstanding service. Our room was small but comfortable and had everything we needed – including a balcony, which overlooked the grass section which leads to the ocean – so wonderful views. There is a sliding door mosquito net which proved very effective. The grass chill area outside was so nice and relaxing, and the small private beach area was a treat – the water is clear, albeit cooler than Illica.
The boutique hotel house is an old house that has been converted into a hotel, so there are some maintenance challenges and niggles which need to be attended to.
