7.5 Good
Pros: Have stayed at Yellow Inn several times. It's one my favorite places: wonderful B&B with a surprise in every room.
Cons: Breakfast egg dish was on the sweet side. Everything else was perfect. The location is a short walk to the Utah Shakespeare Festival plays and has several restaurants nearby.
7.5 Good

Pros: Very Clean, convenient and nice beds. We enjoyed watching a movie from the free selection of old and new movies on the TV. That was a nice surprise. My daughter said it is “homey”.
Cons: I went to get oatmeal in the buffet and it is in a plastic bag in a crock pot. I did not like the fact that it was sitting in a heated plastic bag given all the research on toxins that are emitted through heated plastics.

9.6 Excellent
Pros: It was charming...the house was beautiful...the food delicious and was catered to our allergies.
10.0 Excellent
Cons: It was more than I expected. It felt more like I was visiting someone’s house than staying at a hotel. Donna was such an attentive, warm and friendly host. I was there for the Shakespeare’s festival for the first time. She knew all about the plays and restaurants and filled me in. There was one steakhouse in particular “Milt’s steakhouse” Donna recommended and I wanted to try. It was difficult for us to get in at the time we wanted. Donna offered to make the reservation and was able to work it out for us. Next time I visit Cedar City my first choice will be the iron gate inn. If it is fully booked I trust Donna to make a great recommendation.
10.0 Excellent

10.0 Excellent
Pros: Super nice and clean
7.1 Good
Pros: It's a new hotel, very fresh and quiet location.
Cons: The beds are super soft, like sleeping on a cotton ball, with pillows to match. It's not for me, I had a back for two days afterward. Plan on buying breakfast at the hotel bistro .. I didn't try it as if I want to buy breakfast I will go to a proper restaurant.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: The room had plenty of power supply for both plugged in and USB adaptors. As with all Marriotts, the hot water was plentiful and the bed extremely comfortable, but the sofabed was also very comfortable.
Cons: Refrigerator and sofabed we’re both in the small side but serviceable. Remember to switch on the refrigerator if you need it!
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Okay location, nice.
Cons: We were given a room for the handicapped without warning. It was like a hospital room. Not for the healthy traveler. Coffee was a 2.50 charge. A bit jail like in that hotel. Normally we love Marriott courtyard hotels.

Cons: The bed was very soft
10.0 Excellent
Pros: This is a bed and breakfast we’ve stayed at before and highly recommend to everyone. The owner is outstanding, the breakfasts are outstanding, and if you are so inclined, within walking distance of the Shakespeare festival.
Cons: Nothing at all. No complaints what-so-ever.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Host was very engaging. Took personal interest to ensure we enjoyed the home as well as the surrounding area. Very much enjoyed breakfast
Cons: Pillows were flat. Shower didn’t drain well.
9.4 Excellent
Pros: The overall facility was very clean and the room was also very clean. The owners were very pleasant and we completely enjoyed our visit. The breakfast was definitely good. Though I can't say what the other rooms might have been like, I doubt you could go wrong at all if the same attention is paid to all of the others.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Location was just right.
Cons: Didn't have time for breakfast. Had to go by 8am and it wasn't served until 8:30am. There was another couple that did the same. Should start the breakfast earlier.

9.0 Excellent
Pros: Great overnight stop if traveling with pets. Facility was prepared to accommodate travelers with pets.

10.0 Excellent
Pros: These people go above and beyond to make your stay an enjoyable experience.
Cons: No negatives
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Proximaty to parks a definite plus. Holiday Inn Express is my first choice amongst hotels and was what I expected.

10.0 Excellent
Pros: Everything
Cons: Nothing
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Everything was great ...except...see below
Cons: We loved everything about the place except we had a dog with us so we stayed in a pet friendly room . The room appeared to be very clean but the smell of wet dog permeated the room . The smell was soo strong that my husband and I couldn’t even sleep well during the night because the smell was so offensive . Not sure why it had to smell so bad when we have dogs at our house and it never smells . I would never stay there again unless we were actually able to check the room before staying . They really need to work on the smell . Horrible
6.7 Good
Pros: Location When I reported finding 2 bugs in the bed and the odor in the room the staff quickly acted to resolve the issues and offered to move us to another room immediately
Cons: Smelly room and bugs on the bed
10.0 Excellent
Pros: I had not traveled with my dog in the past and the staff warmly welcomed him.. our room was lovely, bed comfy, all the amenities.
7.5 Good
Pros: Standard HIE experience that we look forward to with one exception.
Cons: Unfortunately we got a room directly over the pool (203) and there was a rowdy crowd in it having a lot of fun. The noise prevented any of my family from sleeping until it closed at 11. I complained to the nice young man at the front desk when it was happening and he offered to ask the parents to get control of their children. I said no but just wanted to let him know of the problem and confirm it closed right at 11. Thankfully it did and we were able to get some sleep. When you check in make sure to avoid the rooms over the pool at least on the second floor. Would stay here again but only at the other end of the building.
7.5 Good
Pros: It was what we need to sleep for the night, clean, comfortable. It met our expectations.
Cons: The breakfast was lacking in may ways but no different from other locations. The needed maintence, when I told the front desk they said, yes we know.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Location was convenient to Zion and Bryce Canyon parks. Nice size town.

10.0 Excellent
Pros: Everything.
Cons: the breakfast. Powdered eggs I just dont like :-( also wasnt apparent that it was available in a attatched Mexican restaurant. Also I think $25 for a pet fee was a bit steep.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The hotel and room exceeded my expectations based on other stays at Ramada. I was very pleasantly surprised.

7.9 Good
Pros: Bed was comfy. They came and fixed our atV promptly when it had problems
Cons: We stayed two weeks ago and it was nice. This room was worse and did not feel clean. The maid didn’t really clean our room on day 2. Left our dirty towels and crumbs all over the floor. Bed is soft but overall I felt like I was staying in a dirty room
7.5 Good
Pros: Ry at the front desk was very helpful getting us checked in and directing us to our room. The area was quiet despite its proximity to the interstate, and the room was cozy. The warm shower after a day of hiking was fantastic.
Cons: The only thing that was a little frustrating was the stairs to the second floor. We had a big cooler with us and having to carry that up a set of crooked steps wasn't fun. The tables in the breakfast room were not kept clean, so we had to wash/wipe one down ourselves for breakfast.
7.5 Good
Pros: Loved the variety and great taste
Cons: I asked for a roll away when I reserved the room and it wasn’t there. Then when we requested it they told us it would cost money. Our door didn’t close unless we slammed it. The ceiling was peeling and surprisingly more run down then expected.
5.0 Okay
Pros: The staff was polite and outgoing at the desk Especially the young Asian woman working the front desk. She was very sweet and helpful in every way.
Cons: The Room and hallways going through the glass doors were all dirty. The toilets I was so old; paint coming off of it. Hire more staff to clean the property better and do light maintenance. The pool was kept very clean I must say.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Location, clean rooms friendly staff
Cons: Tv problem w reception and remote only partially worked, bathroom smelled bad, little pricey

10.0 Excellent
Pros: The hotel in centrally located. The breakfast had a lot of options, even when I waited until near the end to eat. We requested a late check out, and they accommodated our request. The bed was comfortable and cozy. Replacement toothbrush available.
Cons: More vegetarian options at breakfast would be nice. The hotel doors open outside instead of to a hallway, which wasn't my favorite. There was a little traffic noise in the morning.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The room was clean, and the staff was very friendly.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Location was good & convenient. Breakfast was good.
Cons: Hotel was older & needed maintenance!
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Great location just 15 miles downhill from the Cedar Breaks National Monument. Staff are friendly and helpful. Located on a main road in Cedar city the hotel was easy to find.
Cons: The eggs were very machined and the bacon was ... well, it probably once was meat. Room felt a bit cramped.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: We had an excellent stay here, for an excellent price. Lots of choice for the breakfast, including freshly baked waffles. Staff was very friendly. We stayed here to visit Bryce Canyon and Zion National Park, which are both around a one and a half hour drive away, partially through the very beautiful Dixie Forest.
Cons: There is quite a bit of mould on the floor around the pool, but otherwise the pool and also the room were very clean.
6.7 Good
Pros: Bed was comfortable breakfast good. Convenient to everything and quiet.
Cons: Never happy with feel of carpet in room. Don’t know why they don’t put vinyl so it can be properly cleaned.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Curtains were nice so room stayed dark even in late morning.
Cons: I don’t think the breakfasts are good at any of the locations. Food is over or under cooked and just is not good. I stick to cereal or bagels and English muffins which I can fix how I like.

Pros: Pool is located in the middle of the property and not on the main road. The rooms on the 2-floor wing have been renovated and are clean. But the rooms on the other wing are musty smelling. We asked to move rooms and upgraded for a small fee to the 2-floor wing.
Cons: The single storey wing.

Pros: Nice motel. Very conveniently located.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Very clean, well maintained, quiet and in the historic downtown area. Lots of restaurants close by.
7.5 Good
Pros: Breakfast was nice. I had booked through a 3rd party and didn't realize that our room would not have a fridge. The front desk staff was awesome - they kept my ice packs cold for me during out 4 day stay.
Cons: Because I booked through a 3rd party, I felt that I was misled as to the room amenities.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Not a luxury resort but clean, friendly, comfortable, and could not be closer to the Shakespeare festival. Pool very welcome on a hot day.

Pros: Breakfast was limited as to choices, but the choices were good.
Cons: I would love to have had access to a workout room during our stay.

Cons: The parimeters of the room were very dirty. I took a wet wipe and went around the edges and got a lot of dirt and hair. The breakfast could use a little more variety.

Cons: Hotel's lovely. But we arrived after long drive to bring our son to college, and three, not just one, employees of the hotel studiously looked away from us when we walked into hotel lobby and stood in front of the desk. We were the only hotels patrons

9.6 Excellent
Pros: Friendly staff, clean room!
Cons: Sink slow to drain.
6.3 Good
Pros: Beds were good. Room was “pleasant” but below standard from all other Hampton properties I’ve visited.
Cons: I definitely overpaid for this room
4.6 Okay
Pros: The breakfast was good. The location was good.
Cons: The width of the bed advertised as "queen" was much smaller than a regular-sized queen bed. The size was between a "double" and a "queen" and, for two people, very uncomfortable. The TV was inoperable. The morning staff person ( as I recall, her name was "Kia") was extremely rude. We waited at the desk at least five minutes to check out while she held a phone conversation regarding a nonpayment for another guest. She neither offered to put her conversation on hold while taking care of us nor apologized for our wait after she was finished. Even though we checked out early she also didn't even have the good sense to ask us if there was anything about our stay that we weren't pleased with. She is a real negative for this Hampton Inn. We have stayed at Hampton Inns for at least a decade and this is the first one with which we were dissatisfied. We will continue to stay at other Hampton Inns but for sure not the one in Cedar City, Utah.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: How clean room was , the Breakfast and it’s variety and friendly staff .

7.1 Good
Pros: Location good, food good
Cons: room size of closet, only 1 chair
5.4 Okay
Pros: Good location. Seemed clean.
Cons: Bed was so uncomfortable and rickety. I found a sliver of a fingernail in my bed and it wasn't mine or my husband's. I'm praying that they actually did change the sheets and it was just caught up in the laundry. The room was clean, otherwise. Walls were so thin. We could hear the neighbors' conversations until after 10 p.m., and ALL the screaming/crying/wailing children in the next room, AND the mother trying to talk them down, then, finally her yelling, "Jesus! Would you stop!!!" This went until after 11 p.m. I get that she was having a hard time with her kids, but how about better insulation when building a hotel? Sorry, little cranky here because I didn't sleep well last weekend.
7.9 Good
Pros: loved the pool :)

8.0 Excellent
Pros: Close to Shakespeare plays
Cons: Everything was fine
3.8 Mediocre
Pros: The breakfast was edible...
Cons: The door access card did not work; the light in the restroom did not work; the room appeared to be old and in need of remodeling; the furniture and decor was old; if we could have received our money back, we would have left- we were told that our money could not be returned due to 3rd party booking. There were inaccurate ratings of appropriate conditions on one source. This motel should not be allowed to rent rooms!
7.1 Good
Cons: There is a extra fee for cleaning your room if you stay more than one day.
6.3 Good
Pros: Comfortable bed.
Cons: There are signs everywhere telling you how you will be charged if you stain the linens etc. They also hold a $50 deposit on top of room charge. Don't stay here if you smoke. The entire property is non smoking and you will be charged $100 for even smoking outside your room.
1.0 Poor
Cons: We had to pay a deposit of $100 and nowhere on the site did it say there was a $25 pet fee. So they only refunded $75. Actally I just looked in the fine print and the deposit says $50 and it would be FULLY refunded. There is no mention of a $25 pet fee anywhere. We left that room in perfect condition as we travel often and have respect for others property. It barely even looked like we had stayed there! Our keys did not work and the room was not a place we would stay again. The lights did not work and the outlet even sparked when we tried to plug in a lamp. Could be a fire hazard. We found a huge spider in the room as well! Very unhappy with the whole experience to say the least!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: We arrived to find the manager very helpful and kind. Would stay there again.
7.0 Good
Pros: single travel, one night, price. The owners are very nice--Family ran hotel...They try very hard, I respect and appreciate that.
Cons: The door seal is not tight, so when the wind blew at night, the door rattled pretty loud,
5.8 Okay
Pros: Close to everything. Basic lodging, but good value for the price.
Cons: There 4 days. They "forgot" to clean the room the 2nd day, and we had to ask for clean towels and toilet paper more than once. They would only give us towels if we traded them for used towels.
5.0 Okay
Pros: I reserved a room because of how the room was suppose to look...remodeled. The room was so old, and worn down. Mattress was box springs, Very uncomfortable . Shower was very bad, room was hot. I wanted it for a special occasion surprise for my fiancé.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: I liked the bed, the bathroom setup the shower head was very nice-large overhead from ceiling with various spray patterns. Nice refrig and TV. Orange juice was good.
Cons: LOW water pressure-which seems to be the trend in mid to lower cost hotels, The bar of soap was normal and nothing exciting, same for the shampoo/conditioner. I didnt try the room coffee so cant comment.
8.5 Excellent
Pros: Well maintained
1.0 Poor
Pros: Mostly clean
Cons: Staff was not friendly. Furniture was old and worn chair was ripped. Light on towels that were thin. Ice machine didn't work. Pet fee was 2 1/2 times as other motels. Bad experience would never stay again.

Pros: The breakfast was very basic and not the hot breakfast advertised. There was no yogurt or fruit. There were waffles, donuts, instant hot cereal and cereal. At least it was breakfast before we left. We did really like that the beds were separated into two rooms.
Cons: The rooms felt really dingy. It wasn't as clean as we had hoped. There were hairs on the sheets and something on the bathroom wall that wouldn't wipe off, so we decided it wasn't poo. There were 4 of us and we checked in as such but there were only 3 towels. We asked for extra and got one.
