Close to all amenities, and clean.
Comfort of mattress not so good. Myself and husband got up with an aching back.
Excellent location, staff extremely friendly and helpful. Plenty of choice at breakfast, clean and tidy rooms.
No adverse comments to make - all good.
I like this hotel everything was perfect, location, staff, room
Despite the contemporary design the rooms are very comfortable. I had one of the best nights sleep I've had in a hotel room for a long time, which was a pleasant surprise considering I spend a couple of nights a week in hotels on business.
The hotel seems to be in the middle of refurburbishment at the moment (November 2010) so access to the hotel is confusing and doesn't initially inspire confidence in the forthcoming stay.
I liked the room it was comfy although it took a while to work out how to work the heating so woke up very cold the first morning.
The heating confused me and I couldn't find instructions
Nice to pampered and having a short break
the location, the breakfast and the chap showing guests in for breakfast
I didn't like the room it was very dark with the smallest window I have ever seen (which wouldn't open) also didnt like how long it took for reception to deal with a problem that we had with our bathroom after 1/2 an hr of waiting I had to go down to reception myself
The location was perfect, in the heart of the city, easy access to all places of interest, and only a few minutes walk from the train/bus station.
Poor customer service overall
Good friendly service
Air conditioning vent (ceiling) was leaking water on to the floor. This was a highly dangerous situation. A slipon this could have proved very serious. It did mean having to turn it off and open the windows, which of course led to a great deal of noise from outside.
Very average hotel and certainly not value for money
Located bewtween two busy pubs, no cooked breakfast served after 09.30hrs, rooms small
