Everything. It was truly spectacular. Before you arrive, you think that it's an awful lot of money for one night. When you leave, you know that it was money well spent. The check-in, zoo, room and meals were all 5-star and first class. Having a giraffe repeatedly visit your balcony isn't something that I was accustomed to. Simply WOW!
Seeing Jamala in my rear-view mirror...
Breakfast was first class, as all meals were. We loved everything. Having personal contact - usually at carrot's length - with several animals was very good and the staff members were explicit about limits and risks before each encounter.
A safety rail in the shower would aid the largely elderly patrons (which we are). This is the only negative comment we could make on what was a great experience for our 60th wedding anniversary.
Food was exceptional Staff were so pleasant and chatty We enjoyed sitting down evening chatting with strangers from different parts of the country Loved looking at the animals at the zoo environment was so clean I could go on forever Thankyou
Staff and facilities were all excellent very hard to find fault
As with all wooden beds (which looked magnificent and was so comfortable) there was movement in the bed even from just rolling over - post hit against wall. More than anything hate squeaking/noises from furniture
It was an excellent experience from start to finish, worth every penny
