10.0 Excellent
Pros: We had to leave early in the morning before breakfast service, but our hostess went out of her way and pre-packed a breakfast basket so we won’t leave hungry. Plenty of parking space in the street.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Perfect hosts. Wonderful breakfast. Great location.
Cons: Nothing
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The hosts & breakfast was amazing. We have been touring Europe for 5 weeks & the breakfast was by far the best. Cosy hidden gem. Thank you. Definitely a highlight ☺️
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Breakfast was amazing - the owners were awesome
Cons: Everything was fantastic
9.6 Excellent
Pros: This was a single room by itself on the third floor where we were able to open windows on both ends of the loft for a cool breeze at night. There is a park immediately across the street and there are restaurants within 3-4 blocks of this B & B. The local Calais train station is only 2 and 1/2 blocks away. Bed(s) was comfortable with an impressive jetted shower and a separate sitting room. Sleeps 3 with a queen and a single. Not sure if the couch pulled out. Morning breakfast was fantastic. Steamed apples with brown sugar, cheese, meat, yoghurt, soft boiled egg, nuts, croissants, juice, and coffee.
Cons: No elevator so 2 and 1/2 flights of stairs which isn't an issue if you don't have heavy luggage (leave it in your car). I wish the B & B would take credit cards. Cash only here. We read the fine print and were prepared. Another guest hadn't noticed and had to find a cash point (ATM) to pay his invoice.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Beautiful house and our top floor room was spacious and very comfortable. Plenty of parking, fantastic breakfast , quiet location and not far from the tunnel - we will def stay here for future trips!
Cons: Nothing
9.2 Excellent
Cons: No TV in room.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: It was a beautiful afternoon when we arrived, & as we were too early for 5pm check in, we had a delightful wander through the park opposite. The house is beautiful, we had the Loft & our friends the Suite. Both were superbly comfortable & spacious. We could have stayed much longer than our overnight stay. The owners, Joël & Micheline welcomed us warmly & provided a delicious breakfast, including scrumptious baked apples. It made for a most enjoyable last evening before our journey home. We would definitely stay here again.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: This was our second stay and we enjoyed it as much as last time. It is a great location and easy to walk to the town centre or down to the port (where we had a lovely meal). Great breakfast. Highly recommended
Cons: Make sure they have your mobile number in case they need to go out otherwise you may be unable to check in, because this is a bed and breakfast not a hotel so reception is not manned 24 hours a day
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Since we were accompanied our son to the University in England and it was our overnight stop before we embarked next morning on ferry, I would say it was most pleasant stay we could even imagine! We felt as we were visited close relatives, great apartment on the top of house, small details with great taste, breakfast would please even very choosy one! Without any doubt hotel should stay highly recommended!
7.3 Good
Pros: Everything was great exceptionally clean room even had a dvd player
Cons: There is a beautiful spa bath / steam room in the bathroom but because the room is so high up there is no water pressure
7.7 Good
Pros: Owners were pleasant and made us feel welcome. Great location next to park. Room & breakfast were excellent value for money.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: As we are a family of 5, good famlyrooms are something we treasure. This little B&B has the best familyroom we have stayed in! We felt right at home. The convenience of a kitchenette and seatingarea combined with the rooms fairytale-romantic air provided a perfect mini escape for us and our 3 kids. Thank you very much for having us in your beautiful home;)
7.7 Good
Pros: The warm welcome, friendly hosts and interesting room.

Pros: We liked The warm welcome from our host Isabelle. The clean crisp white sheets and comfortable bed. Everything was sparking clean. Many little touches on the room to make us feel at home. The delicious hot breakfast. Isabelle went out of her way to assure that we did not overstay our parking and even paid for it herself! A wonderful experience with a fabulous restaurant not far away.

Cons: Isabell the owner could not be more helpful she even went out and got us a parking ticket!!
10.0 Excellent
Cons: Bit quiet. Had to talk in whispers to ensre other guests not disturbed.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Great location with private parking. Large attractive room. A wide choice for breakfast
Cons: Steep narrow stairs to the room
9.2 Excellent
Pros: The owner was very friendly and helpful the location was good and there was secure parking. Breakfast was good and accommodation was really clean
Cons: I didn’t realise checkin was restricted til after 16.30. But this was on the website but I didn’t pick this up.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The BnB is lovely and spotlessly clean. The owners really care about their guests. For example, we parked outside the door in a public place in the rain, and Isabelle not only offered to get us a permit, she even put it on our car so we didn’t have to think about it in the morning! She says she does this often for guests. It’s the kind of gesture that shows how incredibly thoughtful and considerate her hosting is. Breakfast was wonderful—the omelette was delicious. We’d gladly stay here again. Highly recommended!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Excellent rooms in an unassuming traditional apartment building converted into a very personal B&B (we missed the place on the first try and needed google), very friendly and helpful host (incl great restaurant recommendations in walking distance), excellent breakfast, good location to catch the ferry, note: narrow stairs up to the rooms
Cons: -

Pros: Super clean, quiet, perfect location, incredible attention to detail and excellent breakfast!
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Handy location for stop-off for travelling to and from France ...and for visiting Calais. Clean and comfortable bedroom. Nice building and decor. Breakfast was fine. First time we've brought a dog while visiting France, so pet friendly B&B was ideal. Host was friendly.
Cons: Nothing really.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The host, breakfast and decor were great
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Our host Stephanie was outstanding! She helped me tremendously, in fact above and beyond, when I needed help with my husband who has some disabilities. Even if we had not had a semi-emergency, I would have been so impressed with Stephanie and the way she runs her BnB. Very comfortable beds. Luxurious bathroom. Delicious breakfast.
Cons: The only suggestion is that the bathroom step up in Chantilly is a bit dangerous. Perhaps a white marker rather the black one would have prevented tripping up.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Breakfast was really nice and the staff were really helpful and informative.
Cons: Nothing.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Room was very comfortable and the bed was larger than expected. We have always heard that beds in France are small but found the bed to be similar to a North American ‘queen size’ bed. Loved staying in a home that was built in the 1800’s and our host Stephanie was lovely. Breakfast both mornings was perfect!
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Nice breakfast, lovely little hotel. Staff very friendly and helpful. Would 100% stay again and recommend!
Cons: View was disappointing but we didn't choose here for a view.

Pros: We stayed in the Bombay suite and have to say it was absolutely beautiful - lovely furnishing and decoration and lots of attention to detail. Ironically I don’t recall ever staying in a hotel room in India anywhere near as lovely as this! Sandrine was a very friendly host and the breakfast was spot on. This was a wholly unexpected find and will certainly not be the last time we stay.

10.0 Excellent
Pros: The Staff and the food.
Cons: Very Little.
7.5 Good
Pros: Location was good for the tunnel back to England
Cons: Awful restaurant experience. A large corpporate group was in and the staff were concentrating on serving them. We ordered our main course and waited and waited for someone to come ask if we wanted any afters but no one came so we got up and went to the bar for a drink (knowing that the hotel had our credit card details for payment of the food we had consumed, which wasn't great either). Less than 5 minutes later one of the staff came rushing into the bar for a signature for the food we had had...marvelous soon came to us then! Also heard another couple saying the steaks were not good but we didn't complain at that point!

9.6 Excellent
Cons: Pool should be opened until midnight
7.5 Good
Pros: Light, airy flat with a view of the sea. 3 minutes walk to the sandy beach.
Cons: English visitors like to have a kettle to make tea; the flat had a coffee machine, but no filters. A few English channels on tv would have been good too.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Excellent place to stay. Most friendly of welcomes. Accommodation was spotless. Such an unspoilt part of France. We will certainly want to visit again.
7.1 Good
Pros: The location is good, not far away from beach and lovely Sangatte little town. There's a Jacuzzi, free parking spot, and there's a local bakery nearby or local restaurant if you want to enjoy the local food.
Cons: Not easy to know or communicate with the staff, wifi at the beginning were bad but after you mentioned to them. Then a bit better connection, even not super duper fastest internet line. It's basic, but overall I think not bad to stay for a while in this apartment.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: nice location, about a minute walk to the beach. pool and hot tub were nice. breakfast was great.
Cons: there was a slightly off smell in the room.

7
8.5 Excellent (846 reviews)

The front desk is staffed during limited hours. A roundtrip airport shuttle is provided for a surcharge (available on request), and self parking (subject to charges) is available onsite.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: The hotel is in a superb location overlooking the park and is ideal for an overnight stay. Benoit is a most charming host, very friendly and helpful with, for example, recommendations for local restaurants and the loan of an umbrella to protect us against the Calais drizzle. Breakfast was lovely - we were served the most delicious warm croissants we'd eaten during the whole holiday! Yes, the hotel is under renovation (we already knew this from the last time we stayed) but this didn't spoil our visit in any way when all we needed was a warm and comfortable place to sleep in for one night at a very reasonable price before our ferry crossing the following morning.
Cons: I have no complaints.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Cheap and cheerful accommodation conveniently located and free on street parking outside.
Cons: It’s undergoing (DIY) renovation. We had four rooms, two of which had been improved, two hadn’t, but all the same price
8.3 Excellent
Pros: The hotel is in a very central location and relatively quiet. The continental breakfast is adequate although there is no fresh fruit. The hotel has a small secure car park. The owner is very friendly and the hotel is very clean.
Cons: You had to contact the owner to advise what time you would arrive so he could arrange entry, This involved an email, a text and a telephone call.
7.0 Good
Pros: Situated in centre of Calais therefore close to shops/restaurants/the sea. Hotel basic but clean.
Cons: Nothing
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Stayed there on numerous occasions. Always well looked after. Secure parking a bonus. Only 100 metres from a road full of bars and restaurants. Didn't have breakfast this time but it is usually very good. Code entry so you can check in by mobile. Work being done in the hotel but not intrusive. No lift so if you find stairs difficult ask for a first floor room. Easy access to many of the Calais landmarks. Only six minutes for either the ferry or the tunnel.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Very helpful owner
7.1 Good
Pros: The hotel was clean and just right for an overnight stay. Very central to the town so ideal for reaching good restaurants without a long walk back. Secure parking was a bonus.
Cons: A lounge or meeting area and a vending machine for late night snacks or bottles of water. It will obviously be better when the restoration has finished with pictures on the walls, flowers etc.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Very good location and Benoit as always was very efficient and friendly. Room nice and comfortable.
7.1 Good
Pros: Location was excellent. In the centre of Calais overlooking the park. Very friendly and informative owner. Very reasonably priced secure car parking at the rear of the hotel. Absolutely gorgeous king size bed that was so comfortable I never wanted to get up!
Cons: This property is undergoing major renovation works. The corridors and reception area are undergoing works. The corridors and rooms are noisy as they are wooden floors. The rooms for all they have been recently decorated in a traditional style have obviously not been completely finished off. We had missing plug socket covers, missing plug in bathroom sink. The shower poured water all over the bathroom floor as there was no shower curtain installed. Only coffee and tea bags provided. No milk or sugar. It was a shame as this has the potential to be a really lovely hotel in an excellent location. Only One pillow for each person and no spares in room! Burning question.. would we stay again? In the present state no.. when completed.. most definitely. Well done with the work so far.. carry on and don't forget the the small items

Pros: There is a huge free parking lot across the street from the hotel. Room was very clean, small and nicely decorated. Close to train station and still very quiet.
Cons: The internet service was public. They do not have their own system like all of the other hotels where we stayed. So nothing we worked on was secure. Lighting in the room was practically non-existent. A small lamp on desk and 2 night lights on each side of the bed. No overhead light.

8.3 Excellent
Pros: This is a lovely charming old hotel, beautiful building and really nice clean well equipped rooms. The hotel owner also was very friendly and helpful and the hotel is situated less than 10 mins walk to Calais centre. The only downside is that the hotel overlooks the docks and industrial area, which is unbearably noisy so if you are hoping for any sleep at night you can forget it, we actually gave up at around 3.30 am and left.
Cons: Hotel was great, but the noise from the dock/industrial area outside made sleeping impossible - perhaps a room at the back might be better
7.0 Good

Cons: No ensuite and not close to eateries
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Friendly reception. very nice breakfast delivered to the bedroom (no dining room at this hotel) - good juice and coffee, pain au chocolat, fruit brioche, fresh baguette, selection of preserves, honey, nutella, butter, very good value for 6.5 Euros.

Cons: There is not much choice for breakfast, if you would like a full breakfast then this may be challenging.
5.4 Okay
Pros: Did not have breakfast at the hotel

Pros: We received a really warm welcome on arrival to the Ibis after a long drive north. Plenty of car parking within the ground, the room was spacious and clean with tv and en-suite. The ibis has an on-site restaurant where we ate in the evening and for breakfast the following morning. Again, the staff were superb and the food in the evening, excellent. There was lots of choice for buffet breakfast and the breads.....delicious! There were fresh fruits, dried fruits, cereals; fresh croissants, pancakes, cake, baguettes, fruit loaves; jams and honey; hams and cheeses and eggs. Choice of fruit juices, teas, coffees and water. There were also take away bags and cups for those on the go - brilliant! Well done Ibis Car Ferry, we definitely recommend and would stay again.

Pros: Have stayed before, always great
6.7 Good
Pros: The staff were helpful & the beds were comfortable
Cons: When I read the reviews it said it had a gated car park. This is not true & in the morning I found 2 illegal immigrants on top of my truck! The police had to come & get them down. If it had been gated the immigrants would not have had access to the parking area
8.3 Excellent

Cons: It's a little dated
10.0 Excellent

8.3 Excellent
Pros: Perfectly fine place to spend 1 night, close to the highway, quiet
Cons: Be careful with the google maps, it directed us to the middle of a cemetery, not to the property.
7.0 Good
Pros: Location, 4 minutes from Channel Tunnel. Reasonable rooms at a fair price.
Cons: The public areas, corridors, and restaurant are badly in reed of re-furbishing.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Everything is on site. It is close to the ferry and other restaurants
Cons: Hate the hair dryer. It needs 2 hands to operate so trying to style your hair as you are drying it no chance. It switches itself off is you dont hold it with 2 hands. So old fashioned. Only any good for blokes or women who dont style their hair!!!!

Pros: THE STAIRCASE!! Gorgeous. The staff Cleanliness Location not bad at all - handy for ferry. Underground car parking (albeit at a charge).
Cons: Dated but spotless. Breakfast not worth €14 each. Better choice and cheaper on DFDS ferry!!!!! During the evening I requested a large coffee in the bar; served in a (less than half full) mug, that obviously came from the machine used at breakfast, and charged €3!

10.0 Excellent
Pros: Get down early for breakfast or there is nothing left
3.8 Mediocre
Pros: It’s close proximity to the Eurostar.
Cons: The shower in the room was temperamental and made washing interesting. The rooms were very basic and the price we paid was different to what we were quoted when we booked. There was no air conditioning and the heater was broken so the radiator was on all night making it unbearable to sleep.
7.9 Good
Pros: Nice clean comfortable hotel, staff friendly and helpful. Always stay at this hotel when travelling to work in Europe if it’s available as it’s handy for the tunnel.
5.8 Okay
Pros: Very little, breakfast was ok
Cons: The lack of staff at reception. The useless television
3.3 Mediocre
Pros: The restaurant had a high spec high chair and also had colouring and toys plus a very reasonably priced children’s menu.
Cons: I messaged via booking.com in advance of staying to ask about parking. They made it sound like there was a car park (but that it couldn’t be reserved in advance). However on arrival we were informed there were only THREE spaces for over 60 guest rooms! There is parking on the street, however there was an event on in town and so we parked a long way away and I was on crutches. When I showed them the booking.com correspondence they rudely told me to not book via booking.com in future! The toilet in our room was not clean so we had to move room, it was technically the same room type but a smaller square footage.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Great location Staff helpful and friendly
Cons: Street parking close-by was fine. Might be an issue during peak holiday period
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Proximity to centre of town. Pleasant location. Ease of parking.
Cons: Nothing!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: This is a second time I stayed in this hotel. Next time I will stay here as well.
Cons: Breakfast. I wouldn't say it's bad. It's ok, but then the breakfast is optional, it's better to skip.

2.0 Mediocre

4.2 Okay (371 reviews)

Featured amenities include a 24-hour front desk and coffee/tea in a common area. Self parking (subject to charges) is available onsite.
4.6 Okay
Pros: Close to good burger restaurant.
Cons: Paid more for this than for a beautiful huge room in Vienna a day later. Nice guy on reception. Otherwise, it was a criminal experience and should be reported to the police.
2.5 Mediocre
Pros: I didn't like anything
Cons: Had to get the keys from another hotel in the next Street up. The room didn't look like any of the pictures on the website. No light in toilet, no toilet paper either and the flush was broken. We could hear everything that was going on in the whole building. The room was shabby with broken power sockets, blinds no hung properly and very uncomfortable beds. The poor security made us feel unsecured especially my two children. We left at 5am so we didn't have to spend anymore time in this place
2.5 Mediocre
Pros: Nothing! Horrible place!
Cons: Dirty, dirty, dirty and old, photos on booking.com do not correspond to what you’ll see in reality! Avoid this place! The hotel charged 152 euro for 1 night in this whole!
3.3 Mediocre
Pros: It's hard to know where to start. I have stayed in worst places but not very many. The only thing I liked was leaving the place
Cons: Just about everything. The door pad was difficult to operate, the floor felt sticky, cooking facilities very rudimentary etc
3.8 Mediocre
Pros: Breakfast served too late. 9.30am?! I had a ferry to catch at 9.15. So can't comment on it. Clean sheets and towel. The bedroom door did lock properly. Water was hot.
Cons: These things didn't work, though had been advertised: electric hob. TV. Microwave, plug for bedside lamp. Window was cracked and taped with Scotch tape. Front door code was faulty and I had to get the desk staff from another building to open it for me. Otherwise on my own I would try 5 or 6 times before it worked. Paint work was dirty, rusty and old. Bathroom outside blinds were impossible to open or close (they were half-open, so you could not switch the light on and use the bathroom in the night. Washing and use of toilet was in the dark! Filthy stair carpet from door up to room.
2.5 Mediocre
Pros: Nothing
Cons: Everything
5.4 Okay
Pros: It was easy to leave
Cons: What didn’t you like?: What did I like?
