You get what you pay for. The room was clean, staff was polite and spoke English. The location is decent. There are for the most part locals in this area, and there is a distance to walk if you want to see the main attractions. But the location is very close to the ferries that depart from the southern bay of Puerto Madeiro, this is an advantage if you want a walking distance to the ferries.
The room was very small. They had a little gap between the beds in our twin room where there was a night table packed with snacks and glasses. The space between the beds was also quite small. This meant that you had to be very careful when getting in/out of bed. The bathroom would also get quite wet and foggy if you took a small shower because of lacking ventilation.
Rooms were clean. Breakfast was good and in a pleasant dining room. The location is great for plaza Direggo, market and bars, tango etc
Our superior double room was at the front of the building by a very busy, noisy road. They did let us change rooms to the rear. This was better but there is some kind of motor that comes on and is like being in a plane. Weird. They send messages asking for info or telling you to check out by 10.00 or pay 50% more. Didn't like the tone of these messages. When I asked if we could check out at 11.00am as breakfast finishes at 10.30, I was told no, we have reservations. Sadly a typical Argentine view on customer service.
Convenient for visiting the San Telmo area. Decent restaurants in the vicinity. Breakfast was adequate. Lovely little patio area for guests to enjoy.
Rooms very small and tight--no place to put one's suitcase other than on the bed.
Rooms were comfortable and well furnished. Great service from staff for breakfast and assistance for taxis and other information. Short walk to the park and historical sights of San Telmo. Loved it!!
Rooms were small and there was no place for suitcases.
Very comfortable bed. Good location for our purposes.
Rooms are very tiny. No chair or place to set luggage.
