we did brunch and it was perfect - the setting is gorgeous, very spacious and luminous. The food was delicious, extensive selection and the displays nicely presented
can't think of anything
Setting was superb and there was good attention to detail in every aspect - particularly cleaning of room. Thank you for always providing sufficient water.
It was an unusual step for us to stay in such a high end hotel. We stayed for one night as planned and it was great. After a couple of weeks of hiking and the like it was nice to have the luxuries of a spa and the restaurant food was very nice. All the staff were friendly and it was spotlessly clean. The breakfast was amazing - I wanted to spend all day there. The staff upgraded us to a suite - for a price - which was nice and added to the sense of luxury we were hoping for.
All the pictures are of the old building which as few rooms - most rooms are in the unpublicised seven story building opposite the old building. Tastefully built with creeper growing up it, it creates a courtyard feel with the decadent gardens and restaurants between the old and the new. I liked sitting on the terrace and looking up at the old building - but was a bit sad were were not staying in it as that is what you imagine. The massage was not great - not terrible but I have definitely had better and in less expensive places.
It was waiters and manager de restaurant very impolite, he like to said last word, and he said also is only two refill of tea pot. Some managers of the Restaurante need to be train pleasing the customer as United States an not be rude and impolite with body language an verbally.
