Great location. Nice design and very friendly staff.
Not clean and very small
Spring Heat wave
Great location, decor, theme, front desks English skills, courier arrangement was immediate, shower was high enough (I'm 6'3),Wi-Fi included, view from window, size of window/light, storage of luggage for a day after I departed, close to train station but very quiet perfect for my day trips and to the airport
Wi-Fi was weak sometimes, breakfast was limited by not having a kitchen, single toaster etc Room was hot (spring heatwave) A/C wouldn't come on, 2 very nice tea bags I would have bought if it'd caught the name on the only two ever left? hotdogs for breakfast won't catch on for N Americans, prices were advertised many places all different, saw my rate cheaper signing out of my page on an ad..
My husband and I spent 2 nights in Marmara Hotel. We loved every bit of it. City Center, breakfast, staff, clean, price. I can't name one thing which is against this Hotel. If I ever go back to Budapest I will stay here again for sure.
We loved everything!
The hotel is less than 100m off one of the main streets. But it still manages to be a quiet area. It is very close to all means of public transportation and within two blocks of one of the premier shopping malls in the city. The hotel staff was very professional and courteous without being pushy or in your way. Please note that this applies to all shifts and staff positions.
The room I had was too small. There was barely enough room to walk around the beds. If you are on business and just expect to sleep in the hotel, then you probably won't notice. I would strongly recommend an upgrade. Your room size upgrades also
