It was directly in the city.
It was very difficult to find the way with the car!!! The parking which costs 2,50 Euro as indicated was not nearby but furtheron at the station, the parking nearby costs 9,50 Euro. So this indication was not honest!
The hospitality of the owner is by far this hotels best point. We stayed for two nights and they really made our stay in brugge special not only making our time in the hotel comfortable but also offering advice on where to eat and what to see in brugge.
Peace and quiet in comfortable surroundings and just 5 minutes from the very centre of Brugge and train station a breakfast befitting a 5 star hotel (and thats experience talking) and breakfast times allowing a lie-in, very clean room and host hospitality leaving you regreting you hadn't booked longer.
The thought of leaving at the end of the holiday.
Staff were very helpful, location was great - close to train station and the centre of the city. Rooms were simple but comfortable and clean in a beautiful old building.
No lift, so if you're on the 3rd floor like I was it might be a bit tricky if you have problems with luggage, but it wasn't a big deal for me.
It is very close to the attractions of Brugges. The owner was very helpful.
Creeky floors and an annoying alarm going off all the time. The cheap parking that was in the advert for this hotel is a 15 minute walk away not good in pouring rain.
close to town centre
lovely view of rooftops
Excellent location and extremely friendly hotel owners.
Wonderful location, friendly, very helpful owner. Clean and mostly comfortable. Spectacular view from the skylight.
insufficiently-insulated interior walls--could clearly hear what was going on in the rooms around me. Also a vent pipe brought up the lively sounds of the owners' family. This was the only drawback from my point of view.
Staff is super nice. Breakfast is a cold buffet but good.
The rooms are uglyly decorated, but comfy.
