Amazing location with a beautiful view of the church. It felt exclusive. The room was tastefully done and the fireplace was an added bonus!
Mini fridge in the room would have been the icing on the cake.
Full of character and a perfect location for exploring Brugge.
When we arrived we were informed we wouldn’t have to room we chose due to a water issue I think. I was apprehensive when I was told I’d have to change rooms. I’d chosen the room especially (bathtub and fireplace in the room), it was a surprise birthday trip for my girlfriend. I needn’t have worried. The owner gave us an upgraded room for the same price. It did not disappoint! The property was beautiful, perfect location, we had a bathtub and fireplace in our room along with a huge shower and separate toilet. (Like the one i’d originally chosen. The room was a great size, decorated beautifully. Really can’t recommend it enough. The breakfast was good, and the owner was really nice and accommodating. I’d seen pictures so I thought it was great but even outdid my expectations.
This place was wonderful to stay in, the location was wonderful . We stayed in the secret suite which was lovely. Big and airy, really warm with a fabulous big roll top bath which was great after a freezing cold day of day sightseeing.
There was nothing about this property I didn’t like , my breakfast wasn’t so good as a vegan coeliac the options were very limited but it didn’t matter as everything else was so delightful plus there is a wonderful vegan waffle shop not to far away.
Location was perfect and the re-furbished house is beautiful. The room was just to our taste - 'shabby chic'. We found the mattress a bit soft and could have done with more pillows but slept well regardless. The breakfast was fine, with a lot of choice, just be prepared to sit very close to the other guests in the B&B!
Only issues we encountered in the room were a lot of dead flies in the bathroom and a few electrical issues (the light switch system is not clear and a bit confusing and there was some broken wiring poking out of the wall. Also, the door handle kept falling off the front door which was disconcerting!
