While in vacation in Colorado my friend and I, stayed at The Village Hotel. I found what at first seem to be a tick, and turned out to be a wood tick on my bed. The staff acted promptly not only to pay for our night, but also gave us a free bottle of wine. A few mins later Jon came by our new room to see how I was doing, and made me aware that if I had any symptoms he would take care of it. He also gave me and my friend complementary dinner for 2 with drinks. Just blown away by the professionalism and kind people in Colorado. Without a hesitation I will be coming back again, and will highly recommend to all my Visual Effect friends. Cheers, Aldrich Torres www.aldrichtorres.com

Basic hotel and services
Valet parking free but of cause you have to then tip
After I paid taxes on kayak I also got charged another 75$ at checkout. 35$ was for dog but don't understand the extra money
Right at the base of the mountain. Great lift access!
Entire hotel runs out of hot water during "shower
This is an older hotel that has been updated, but not recently. The decor looks to be about ten years old. But it was clean and had new linens. The location of the hotel is second to none. It is an easy one minute walk to the base of Peak 9, and a three minute walk to Main Street's shops and restaurants. Additionally, there is a shuttle stop just outside the front door.
The bathrooms are very small. So small, that you must step into the bathtub or squeeze into the six inches next to the toilet in order to close the bathroom door. Additionally, the entire hotel runs out of hot water during what the hotel's engineer called the "shower hour", which was around 4-5pm when many skiers came back to the hotel after a day of skiing.
The Village Hotel is perfect for skiers and snowboarders looking to take advantage of the world-class slopes of Breckenridge.
The Village Hotel, situated within the Village at Breckenridge Complex, is located adjacent to the base of Breckenridge Ski Resort and is only a short walk to the many dining and shopping options of Main St. In the winter, guests can enjoy the world-renowned skiing of Breckenridge, with access to 30 lifts and 150 trails. During summer, guests can stay active and explore the many nearby Rocky Mountain hiking and biking trails.
The Village hotel includes a couple great on-site dining option. The Park Avenue Pub is a casual restaurant with appetizers, casual meals, and drinks. The Maggie, which is only open during winter, offers a food court style lunch and a family-friendly atmosphere. Free breakfast is also available from November to April.
Hotel features include a 24-hour front desk service, free shuttle around town, and valet parking (winter only). Other amenities include a rejuvenation mini spa, a business center, and the Village Childcare Center (winter only). For skiers and snowboarders, the hotel offers sports equipment rental and storage, a ski & ride school, and other related services.
All 60 rooms at the hotel feature flat-screen TVs, high-speed wireless internet access, a mini-refrigerator, coffee, and air conditioning. A limited amount of rooms are dog-friendly.
Guests at the Village Hotel can take advantage of the world-class Breckenridge slopes, beautiful summer and winter hiking, and a variety of dining and shopping options.
