The curbside appeal is quite nice. They include a basketball court nice landscaping, and overall decor. The room was spacious and overall comfortable.
The breakfast bar was less than what should be available at a hotel of this stature. Cups were challenging to find, the sausage looked under cooked, and while the eating area was well arranged the food area was dirty. The bed was OK. The shower ended up soaking the bathroom floor. I've stayed at nicer Residence Inns across the country.
Under renovation and some of the new design isn't practical.
The location was good. It was right off the yellow route and close to the main drag.
The breakfast was sad. All of the breakfast hostesses with the exception of one acted annoyed when asked any question. The room was a mess and it seemed like nearly half the items needed to be refilled at any given moment even when the room wasn't busy. The coffee was also sub-par. Multiple times (on different days) we called the front desk to ask a question and no one ever picked up, but we walked to the front desk immediately after calling to find the front desk worker sitting there on their personal cell phone. Room wasn't cleaned daily, or if it was, all they did was make the bed and nothing else. Had to go to the front desk multiple times in the 5 days we were there to ask for more towels because they weren't restocked in our room. The key lock on the side door didn't work so anyone could just walk in. The shower glass isn't long enough (door-less showers) for the shower heads they installed because the bathroom floor was covered in water everytime we showered. Also, the A/C in our room literally sounded like an airplane taking off the whole time it was running, to the point that it gave me a headache.
