    Must haves to rate a stay highly are not just clean rooms and nice staff, good location. Charming 1812 hotel. Lots of pluses like windows you can actually open, fab hotel restaurant and large bar.....

    Not much to dislike here... way too charming to pick holes in... refresh room with paint maybe... but still very comfortable and clean.

    Great location. Refurbishment of the downstairs areas to a very high standard.

    The bedrooms are in need of refurbishment. The pillows are wafer thin. Very hot!!

    Everything perfect. Exceptionally clean and comfortable.

    I know most places do the same, but charging extra for on-site car-parking is not only irritating but also bad business. Seems to be standard procedure these days but that doesn't make it right. The good-will and extra custom that would be generated by free parking would be far more profitable in the long run.

    Great location and the staff were fantastic and lovely hotel very clean rooms and the Entertainment was very good .

    Car park should be free for guests £8 a day and £13.50 for breakfast is far too much and food nothing on the menu was to our liking . Simple food in the bar area far too fancy .
