The Langham offers friendly luxury
The staff at the Langham hotel genuinely made us feel welcome. The room was well appointed and the restaurants and spa were superb. We will be back again!
Had a problem with our room.
The location was he best part of this hotel. Everything downtown was a short, safe walk (T stops, Fanuel Hall, Quincy Market). The room was small for the price but it was well kept. Everything was clean and staff was quick to respond to any requests we had.
Our AC/Heater broke on our last day there so we had to move rooms because it could not be fixed that night. It kept making an awful buzzing noise every few seconds and would have made sleeping impossible. It was about 8:30 at night and it was really the last thing we wanted to do. Fortunately, they had another room available, and they told us it was an upgrade (it wasn’t), but it was still a process to have to pack all of our stuff up and move it. No discount was offered for the inconveniece. Otherwise the stay would have been perfect.
Clean, quiet, and relatively posh with ample room size. Luxury, but not high end luxury...hotel has good bones, but is older. Still a nice place to stay
Modern amenities in rooms for technology not really available...no charging ports, limited plugs even near the desk. Also the restaurant was not open at 8:00 pm on a Tuesday, just the bar with a more limited menu.
Best hotel experience ever!
The quality of service at the Langham is exceptional. I've never stayed in a hotel where the staff were universally excellent, the accommodations so truly comfortable, and so many lovely extras included. I stayed following an historic blizzard in Boston, and being in that space, so warmly greeted, every need considered -- I can't say enough about how wonderful this establishment is. I would stay again, every time I'm in Boston!
the friendly staff and beautiful reception areas
Staff was very friendly and enthusiastic
Dated & Tired, especially considering the price tag
Staff very helpful.
The price of brunch.
Staff was great. Helpful and friendly. I stay here for work as a united airlines Capt on my Boston layover, and we are treated so well that I brought my wife up for a weekend stay .. We walked to Fanual Hall, and Aquarium.. Shopped. Went to a Red Sox -Yankees game ( Sox won
A bit pricey. But hey .. Its downtown Boston
Very attractive lobby area; extrenely personable and professional staff.
Bathrooms and towels were not what a hotel charging $700/night should be offering.
Excellent to stay, but cost is very high for business people.
The Langham Boston is in Boston. Massachusetts, close to the Children’s Museum and in the heart of it all. It is in downtown Boston and gives guests a welcoming sense of comfort and class. There are all kinds of fun things to do while staying at the Langham. The Langham Boston is formerly the Federal Reserve Bank of Boston. The hotel has a 1920’s heritage.
There are 317 guest rooms, 18 suites, and it is a 5-star experience for all. This is a perfect city vacation for all. The biggest room of the hotel is the loft room. It has a king size bed and a queen size sleeper sofa. The loft is a two-story loft, and it has dark woods and floor to ceiling windows that show views of Franklin Street, which is part of the financial district. There is a half bathroom downstairs and a sleeper sofa. This is great for families with children. The second floor has the master bedroom with the king size bed and a huge marble bathroom.
The largest suite on the property is the chairman suite. It starts at $2500 per night. This room sleeps three comfortably, and the Boston Skyline is the million-dollar view from this room. There is a king size bed and connecting rooms are available. It has a private entrance foyer, Nespresso machine, tea and coffee making facilities, living room that holds ten, a walk-in closet and more.
This is a non-smoking hotel. There is an indoor swimming pool, fitness studio, lavish sanctuary and spa, and more.
