Had a problem with our room.
The location was he best part of this hotel. Everything downtown was a short, safe walk (T stops, Fanuel Hall, Quincy Market). The room was small for the price but it was well kept. Everything was clean and staff was quick to respond to any requests we had.
Our AC/Heater broke on our last day there so we had to move rooms because it could not be fixed that night. It kept making an awful buzzing noise every few seconds and would have made sleeping impossible. It was about 8:30 at night and it was really the last thing we wanted to do. Fortunately, they had another room available, and they told us it was an upgrade (it wasn’t), but it was still a process to have to pack all of our stuff up and move it. No discount was offered for the inconveniece. Otherwise the stay would have been perfect.
Clean, quiet, and relatively posh with ample room size. Luxury, but not high end luxury...hotel has good bones, but is older. Still a nice place to stay
Modern amenities in rooms for technology not really available...no charging ports, limited plugs even near the desk. Also the restaurant was not open at 8:00 pm on a Tuesday, just the bar with a more limited menu.
Best hotel experience ever!
The quality of service at the Langham is exceptional. I've never stayed in a hotel where the staff were universally excellent, the accommodations so truly comfortable, and so many lovely extras included. I stayed following an historic blizzard in Boston, and being in that space, so warmly greeted, every need considered -- I can't say enough about how wonderful this establishment is. I would stay again, every time I'm in Boston!

Very attractive lobby area; extrenely personable and professional staff.
Bathrooms and towels were not what a hotel charging $700/night should be offering.
