I didn’t like it, the cleaning it wasn’t that good I don’t even know if my room was sanitized, a couple of sheets were dirty. No hot water for everyone. It is like a weird smell
I didn’t like it, the cleaning it wasn’t that good I don’t even know if my room was sanitized, a couple of sheets were dirty. No hot water for everyone. It is like a weird smell. You should have better staff and better cleaning protocols
Plenty of room in our kind bed room for a playpen and all things that come with a 1 yr old. Bed was also very comfortable.
Hotel fixtures (lights, furniture etc) were outdated and old.
Tree view out window, free shuttle to north subway, staff was friendly
Run down, rusted metal and shower rod coming out of wall, no breakfast, carpet needs replacing, housekeeping hit and miss, no mirror except bathroom, very noisy from other rooms, like an old dorm room
Parking is a problem
Employees were friendly and helpful, security officer was on site, workout and pool facilities on site.
Parking was an issue, you have to park in a garage 3 or 4 blocks away and walk back and forth ( in the middle of the night when you are catching an early flight ). The air conditioning was horrible, one vent that was directed towards the window and air went behind the curtains. Needed small cosmetic repairs
Get what you pay for
They were clean enough. It was a place to sleep. We'd gotten a deal on kayak but I saw you could stay there for cheaper on Groupon.
Needs to be updated. No attention to detail. Showerhead was broken off wall and they didn't care to fix it. They'd painted the room but painted around furniture and you could see lines. Had "do not disturb" on door but cleaning ladies came in anyway.
Worth every penny
For the price, this hotel can't be beat. The location is cute, quiet, and close to bus stops that will take you downtown. The rooms were ok- beds were comfy, lots of storage space. You get full access to the YMCA during your stay, which was awesome.
The room wasn't vacuumed very well and the outlets were all very old/pretty loose. The elevators were also very slow and pretty much taken-over by hotel staff in the morning.
Nice room. Nothing fancy, but plenty of mirrors and outlets, and not freezing cold when you walk in. Was not expecting a kitchen, but that was an unexpected perk. I like they provided conditioner along with other soaps. Comfortable beds with nice pillows. Staff generally accommodating.
Couldn't figure out how to make it colder at night. Loud vacuuming in the hall at 9 am even though I wasn't going to wake up until 10 (check out is at 11). If they're going to have a kitchen, they should include a few basics like plates and cutlery and maybe a pot and pan. Fridge was a little loud. Unhelpful directions to Tedeschi.
Clean, but Spartan
Close to attractions and the Charlestown Navy Yard; inexpensive for a city hotel
Room was dormitory-like. Not bad, but very basic.
Room was very warm. Thermostat adjustments did not work to alleviate
For the money, it was ok
I liked the location in the Naval Yard, and to get downtown Boston it is only about a mile walk across a pedestrian-friendly bridge, and an Uber from downtown is only about $7. Compared to the cost of other downtown hotels, being around $400 per night, the Constitution Inn was the best I could find for not wanting to pay that much and for a close proximity. I would not recommend this hotel if staying longer than a few days, or if you are looking for something with ambiance. Best if traveling alone, too. Based on the rooms (cement brick walls, etc...) it looks like the facility used to be some sort of public housing. The area around it is charming. Again, for the price and being so close to downtown, I think it was a decent stay.
Nice location but not clean. May be good for colle
It was located right where we wanted to be and there is a YMCA in the same building. So access to a nice exercise facility and walking distance to the Constitution ship yard and the docks on the water front in Charelstown, MA.
The bathroom was very dirty. Hairs from previous guests were everywhere. The comforters on the beds were stained. We were only given two bath towels and when we called for more we had to go down to the front desk to get them.
A pleasant stay in Boston
It is not a four starts hotel, but it has all its facilities and more to offer. Friendly, very well situated. It was a pleasant surprise. It has all the sport facilities you might need. You can walk or run by the water. It is close to downtown Boston. The Freedom Trail starts a block from there. I recommend the Constitution Inn.
Right in the heart of downtown Boston is The Constitution Inn. With views of the Charlestown Navy Yard, this boutique hotel offers a great location, making it easy to travel and tour the city and is a short distance away from Boston Logan International Airport.
Rooms feature many amenities including a refrigerator, microwave, comfortable beds and a work area with a desk a coffee maker and complimentary WiFi. Kitchenettes are offered in some suites upon request. Take advantage of free access to the YMCA and get in a few laps in the pool, get involved in a yoga class or relax in the sauna.
Explore the city and everything it has to offer right outside the hotel doors. Stroll through cobblestone streets and visit dozens of unique boutiques or discover new works of art at the Museum of Fine Arts. Take a history lesson at the John F. Kennedy Library and Museum and the Freedom Trail. Visit the Boston Waterfront for an interactive tour of the Tea Party boat or grab a scoop of Ice Cream and walk along the waters edge for a full view of the skyline.
Go on a culinary journey at many of the restaurants, cafés, and pubs that fill the city streets. Dine at Ruka for Japanese-Peruvian Chinese food in a restaurant full of decorative details or savor fish entrées and raw oysters in a stylish and modern setting at Row 34. End the evening at Lookout Rooftop and Bar for a handcrafted cocktail and views of the city and harbor. Get in the middle of it all and see everything downtown Boston has to offer and book a stay at The Constitution Inn.
