Beautiful location, we're so glad we stayed at Back Bay! Our room had everything we needed and guests were offered a discount at the French Bistro downstairs.
Our check in and check out was a bit fiddley because the machines were unable to take foreign cards. We ended up having to pay the rest of our stay in cash. Check out also took a bit of time as this was not recorded in our file. Nevertheless staff were polite and helpful.
very clean - Newbury Street location was great. Highly recommend.
Very nice hotel that feels more like an Inn. There is a French wine bar downstairs with excellent food and wine - they give guests 15% off and you just take the elevator up to your room afterwards - lovely. The price is very reasonable and you are right on Newbury street. $30 parked my car off-street overnight!
The room was a perfect size, nice sitting area with the view of the street action. Too bad we did not have tge time to take advantage of sitting! Staff more then helpful. Literature, maps of area helpful. Bathroom super clean. Bed very comfortable, nice to provide an iron and ironing board. Good selection for breakfast, certainly beats the so-call "continental" breakfast at other places. Nice lobby to sit in also. Location for where I need to go perfect, using the T and bus routes. That is why we have been staying for the past 3 years!'
Next time we go we will have a queen size bed. King to big for us. Bathtub was a challenge at first. Someone needs to check the valve and pressure of water coming out of the head of shower. Everyrhing else perfect. Thank you
The location to the convention center was very convenient. The front desk staff were very friendly and helpful. The breakfast was good. Liked the fact that there was hot water, coffee and tea available 24/7. Evening pastries were greatly appreciated.
Needs some updating.
