8.8 Excellent
Pros: I loved the efficiency of the check in process. I appreciated the friendliness and attentiveness of the staff. Breakfast was adequate. There seemed to be a rush of guests when we were there so things seemed to be emptied often. They may benefit from having more help with this area, although the manager and assistants were always happy to help with a smile. I wish we would have had more time in our short stay to enjoy the indoor pool and outdoor fire pit area. The suites had everything one would need to enjoy their stay at this hotel. I also noticed it is Pet Friendly which is a bonus to a lot of travelers I am sure. I would stay here again when in the area!
Cons: We arrived after 10pm with our small children and quickly discovered the previous guest had left undergarments in one of the drawers. We probably would not have even known about this if we didnt have kids with us (they like to open every cabinet/drawer). I alerted the front desk and he offered to either come get them himself or we could change rooms. I did feel uneasy about staying - what else hadnt been checked/cleaned? But, the room seem sparkling in all other ways and it was very late so we stayed. It took maybe 5 minutes for him to come and grab the garment and he apologized again.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The breakfast was great and the staff was wonderful

Pros: The coffee near the desk was from a local business. Very very good. The whole place was very clean.
Cons: The restaurant was despicable. I went in to get a drink to bring to the pool, and there were vulgar people making out at the bar. They were to the point of needing a room there! Indecent for a hotel that has children. Plus the music was so loud it kept me up all night Saturday. And ~ I was on the top floor! I say get rid of that bar and get a decent restaurant! I will not stay there ever again because of that bar.

Pros: Staff was friendly and accommodating. Restaurant next door was very good. I assume it's under different management. Also we appreciate that they DO NOT allow pets! Hate sharing beds with other people' s dogs!
Cons: Had to change rooms because bathroom light did not work well. Both rooms had food particles in the floor. First room we were in floor had all sorts of particulates and shower doors were not clean. Second room had a funky smell. When we arrived breakfast area floor was super sticky with something. Same way the next morning. We chose not to eat free breakfast because of questionable cleanliness. Even the coffee was cold and we came down only 30 minutes after Breakfast began. All that being said, staff was super nice and the room was a bargain. I guess you get what you pay for.

7.1 Good
Pros: Location and breakfast were good
Cons: Bathroom was not very clean. Rust and dirty grout
5.0 Okay
Cons: There was construction going on on the outside of the building which started at 7am banging, walking on the roof and the contracted workers on the scaffolding right outside my window. Talking about feeling like you’re in a fishbowl. If you’re going to do work have the courtesy to wait until at least 8am before you start and do not place someone in a room that workers are going to be right outside their window. Feeling of no privacy!!!

Cons: No towels in pool area when we were there.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Everything
Cons: Nothing
7.5 Good
Pros: Good coffee!
Cons: Too bad the chemicals from the pool permeate the lovely lobby. We had to park quite a distance from the front door and it was raining. We were unable to access either the front desk or housekeeping via the inhouse phone and had to go to the desk to ask for extra pillows. This was at 4:30. When we returned at 10:30 there were still no pillows. Luckily the front desk had some available when we went down and asked.

8.0 Excellent
Pros: Very ornate facility. Just oozes character. A lot of attention to detail. This is not your typical hotel. Clean.
Cons: No cover for peephole on door, no free electrical outlet near desk. Both of these I'd kind of expect for an older structure anyway. Room lights appeared to be on a motion sensor. Great for energy savings, not great if you sit still for too long.

Pros: Cool hotel on outside and eclectic lobby area. Rooms were clean
Cons: The lobby and elevators had a odor very strong mix between old and too much deodorizing stuff

Cons: The place was very convenient. But I wish it was closer to campus.
3.3 Mediocre
Pros: The fruit was wilted, the rest did not look appetizing. On a positive note... The cookies at the counter were good! We just went out for breakfast.
Cons: The room smelled like smoke. Their was a giant water bug on the bathroom floor. There were spider webs on the curtains and attached to the pop corn ceiling that moved when the A/C ran. There was hair and not our in one of the beds.

8.3 Excellent
Pros: Location with easy access to the freeway. Restaurant right next door. Good breakfast.
Cons: Beds were very uncomfortable. The mattresses too soft and one bed it sunk in the middle.
4.6 Okay
Pros: Breakfast the second day was good.
Cons: Room felt tired. The bathroom felt dirty especially the sink. Took a cold shower the first day because I couldn’t get any hot water in the tub. When I told the person at the front desk they suggested that the faucet was backwards. I asked for someone to look at it while I was at work. Did not hear any update so I tried the faucet to see if it was fixed. Sure enough - it works backwards....the hot comes out when the handle is turned toward the “c”. Sounds unsafe but at the least it is inconsiderate of the guests!! The sink in the bathroom had either deep scratches or cracks and turned my stomach to look at it. The second day the cleaning staff had taken all of my washcloths and did not leave clean ones.
2.0 Mediocre
Pros: Location the only positive
Cons: Check-in process a joke; clerk uncommunicative and apparently unable to log in to their system to allow me to check in. Finally got a room, only to find someone already in there. 8.3 Excellent
Pros: Staff nice and clean
Cons: The pool is very rusted and it needs to be fixed immediately and they need to fix the heat literally
1.0 Poor
Cons: WE were in room 119. When we came in late in the evening on 10/04/2019, as soon as we opened the door a horrible smell hit us. It smelled like a litter box that had not been cleaned in weeks. We went to the front desk to complain. We were told all rooms were booked and they had no other room to give us but they would give us a different room in the morning (we were staying for 3 nights total). The next day they gave us the room next door (121). When we walked in the window was opened and a breeze was coming in the window. Everything seemed fine. We left for the day and came back that evening. Again, when we opened the door the same smell that was in room 119 was also in room 121. We went to the front desk to complain again. Again we were told all rooms were booked and they would change our room in the morning. Sunday morning they called the manager and told him what was going on. He told them to give us an upgrade in the room to a suite. That was nice but considering they charged us the full price for the whole weekend of $426.37. No discount for the 2 knights we had to sleep in what smelled like a litter box and our clothes smelled just like that to. We called other motels but no openings due to it was ISU parent weekend. We will NEVER stay there again.
6.7 Good
Pros: The room, and rest of the hotel, was nice and clean in general, and the location was good not far from food or groceries.
Cons: The staff complained about ANYTHING we asked for. We asked for extra towels over the phone and the man literally let out a sigh as if it was the largest request; he didn't even have to bring them up as the housekeeping staff brought it. The wifi wasn't working either and when we went to ask about it, it was as if we interrupted the receptionist with a personal call, she tossed her phone onto the desk in a huff then she told us to turn our phones off and on because we had been travelling, but that did not work as the signal just didn't reach our room.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The staff is always very helpful. I love that I can request a quiet floor. If I need to have a early check in or a late check out they always accommodate me.

2.0 Mediocre
Pros: Nothing the room was filthy. Tub was not clean had dirt rings around the tub, toilet had feces and mold, sink had old tooth paste, mirror was smeared with god knows what. This was the second room they gave me the first room wasn’t cleaned either. Please save your money and spend it somewhere else where there’s not a previous person dna scattered around the room and not cleaned up afterwards. Disgusting
Cons: Shutdown!!!!!
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Great location, just off the interstate. To be fair, given the quoted rate of around $60 for a room for 4 with breakfast, I wasn't overly optimistic but I shouldn't have worried. It is clean, quiet and the breakfast fare is more than adequate to start the day, including waffle maker which my boys love. The staff/owners are pleasant & helpful and, whilst it is a little dated in some ways, it represents excellent value for money and a clean, safe room for the night.
7.5 Good
Pros: Location. Ease of finding & getting back on the freeway.
Cons: Not enough fruit at breakfast.
4.6 Okay
Pros: The location is perfect
Cons: Our bathroom was AWFUL! The front piece on the vanity was slipping off, tiles were mostly broken and loose, very little grout remaining, the toilet was meant for preschoolers ( way shorter than normal), toilet/tub room was to tiny to turn around.
7.9 Good
Pros: The price was very good. The breakfast was really good. The staff was very kind. I slept really good. I even over slept.
Cons: The hall ways where stuffy.. The room was hot and was hard to get cool. I went to the front desk and they gave me a fan. I still slept really good.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Great value for the cost. If you’re looking for a comfortable bed and just some place to relax at the end of the end of the day it’s perfect for that.
Cons: The breakfast left a lot to be desired. Eggs were cold every day. The gravy was cold and biscuits were hard.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The room I stayed in was very clean. I had excellent service from the staff during check in, my stay, and check out. The breakfast was very good with plenty of time to eat and dine in a very clean area. I felt very safe with my stay at Days Inn.
Cons: I had no problems.
