There has been a vast improvement to the decor in the rooms and the bedding and toilets were very clean and comfortable x plenty space .
There was a bad smell in the room like a drain or likewise . they could do with putting small fans in thexroom as it was far too warm even with the window wide open . they have done well to improve on the bathroom upgrades but let themselves down with silly things like taps not fixed properly and no plug in the sink tgings that could be easily rectified .
It's on the beach . Tram stop right outside With being at the back of hotel it was quite too Staff were friendly . The young lad helped carry the bags and showed us to our room
The only thing I didn't like was that the lift didn't work and that our room was at the back and if was like going through a maze to find the room but other than that was a lovely room
Everything was great been twice now and great both times. Staff are lovely
I liked everything
Only thing we liked was the scouse guy called George, one of the only nice members of staff!
The women staff were rude and abrupt, the room we were first shown to was dirty the windows didn’t open the blinds were tatty and didn’t shut. It looked like someone lived in that room permanently, we’d never seen anything like it. Also it was on the fifth floor and we were told when we got there that the lift doesn’t work so we had to walk up a crazy amount of stairs with all of our belongings and the last staircase was so narrow it was a struggle. We refused to stay in this room and demanded a different one, they sorted this out for us eventually and we were moved to the third floor and what a difference this room was to the first one, proper beds, windows that actually opened and proper blinds. Only issues we had was that the floor was sandy and dirty, the bathroom wasn’t clean and there was no bedside tables to put anything. The parking was also a joke, we parked at the front and received a ticket to put on the dashboard with our number incase of any problems. We only had one full day there so we wanted to drive around and explore only to see we had a car blocking us in so we couldn’t get out due to the staff not doing their job properly and giving the parking tickets to the car behind us and several cars on that row. One of the cars to the left not directly behind us kindly moved their car so I could at least attempt to get out but it was impossible, we then went back into reception and said there is no way we can get out and quite frankly if they’d have done their job this wouldn’t have happened. Only to the rude woman at reception saying she’ll move my car for me (I don’t think so!) we eventually got out after at least 40 minutes. It was nothing but stress from the minute we got there to the day we left. I wouldn’t recommended coming to this place unless you want to be dumped in a squatters room or spoken to so rudely. I wouldn’t even give this a one star rating.
I didn't like the fact the lift was broken we had to climb to 3rd floor with my mother who suffers bad with COPD took her 15mins to get to the room 311 (requested lower floor) apparently no rooms available! When in the room the shower didn't stop leaking floor wet through!! Blind broke couldn't open scaffolding all round the building requested sea view got side view of scruffy flats that was facing onto us! On our arrival the cleaner left all utensils in the corridor health & safety hazard No breakfast available due to chef walking out & errrmm broken toilet seat!
