Helpful receptionist that helped me print some documents when I had no access to my laptop.
Noise from the bar downstairs on the Saturday. I only stayed one night and room was at the front of the hotel. Might be quieter at back of hotel or during the week.
quite close from everything, helpful staff, cheap
I liked that it was pretty close to the center
Some staff didn't speak English at all, although others were fluent.
The hotel's staff is very friendly. The hotel has a very good location
Sunday' s night the music is loud...but it's Spain
The hotel was in a very good location, and the staff was very helpful with directions and making sure we got everything we needed.
The walls are very thin, we could hear everything, and I mean everything that went on; gentlemens conversations staying in the room next to us and a couple having sex in a room above us, another guest taking a shower, etc. In the mornings we were woken up by the sounds of the cleaning staff and other guests staying in the hotel. The day we arrived we were given a room facing the street, directly above construction which went on for some hours the first night.
Closeness to city centre and Guggenheim Museum etc. Ease of access from motorway/autovia. Availability of secure parking if booked in advance.
Lack of sound proofing between our room and street noise at night, and also between bedrooms. Lack of air condidtioning in rooms may be an issue depending on weather.
It was absolutly marvelous to stay in this nice place. I never felt more welcome than in the Zabalburu.
bug eaten carpet
we only used the oom to sleep and shower in.
Location and the fact that it was clean
Small rooms, lots of noise.
